I'm trying to say that Kahn is part elder god and thats why he is so powerful.And yes I now see that I made no sense but I was expressing more of an opinion that the MK storyline has always been changed somehow in every game,movie,cartoon,or comic and that I thats what I think makes mk kool.

...we know...it's just that the true story is the game's story...Kahn is not an Elder God...nor does he have any Godship...he is purely mortal...which makes us wonder why he's such a bad-ass...

He actually could be a mix between a monkey,tarkatan, and a shokan.

ok then hes no type of god but I dont think he has any type of monkey dna in him.that sounds just silly.we can always wonder why hes such a bad ass and how he defeated onaga but i feel if my theory were true it would make perfect sense but i was following the movie and not the game.

Sounds like maybe a Tarkata raped a outworld woman and had a baby who's name was Shao Kahn. Growing up in a separated world like a Tarkata mix would surely force him to go out on his own and learn his moves off the streets ( if you can call them that) So he grew up in Outworld, made a name for himself, got noticed by Onaga for his seemingly uncanny ability to see battles and guide troops, made him an advisor, and enjoyed his new generals. With the tarkata blood in Shao Kahn, it was only a matter of time before he would want to be top dog, so after gaining trust with Onaga he poisoned him and became Emperor of Outworld. that sounds good but then I think maybe hes just a natural bad ass with the ability to defeat onaga.thats how he was probably just meant to be.

I am random sometimes so I still think he is part monkey because he could be like humans where they have ape or monkey DNA. so he could be a decendant of a monkey race from Outworld

...I'm pretty sure he has no monkey in him...though theory states there's a good chance he's part tarkatan...I think he's part dragon...perhaps a half shokan (quarter dragon)...but he definitely resembles man more than anything so I'd assume he's half human and half of another wicked Outworldian race...

Shoa Khan is not a beast of any kind. Not all things that come from Outworld are monsters. He is very powerful. And didnt 'slay' Onaga, he just poisined him. But he could of slayed him! I mean Shoa Khan has empereors sheild. That is a sheld that blocks powers. Shoa Khan and Rain have always been at a tie for me for favorites. But all in all Shoa Khan is a powerful Outworlder who didnt slay (but could of) Onaga.

My friends and I are convinced that since he had a position similar to Rayden's before taking the Outworld throne, he is some form of "immortal", or something similar. I wouldn't go so far to say he's a god, though.

It's already been mentioned, Nathan, that he was a General of Onaga's armies, and the most powerful of them at that. Also that he was given power by Onaga that changed his form. My personal thoughts of Shao Kahn is that he's part Tarkatan, part Dragon and the third part is a mystery to me.

...over time I've conjured ideas and merged them...perhaps his livelihood is similar to Shang Tsung's in that he is a mixture of souls not entrapped by his own soul, as is Tsung's ability, though physically...which assumes him as the form of many species in one from a 'build-up' of ruling...
...this would present the idea that he was far nearer to an average mortal before becoming an emperor over Onaga...
