I think he doesn´t mean ´Hookswords´, Krave. He means the red cords, which are also used during his fatality

...nah...he's goin'...and not just 'cause I hate him...
...he has a weak fan base...he doesn't effect the storyline much...the Black Dragon leader can be easily replaced...and there are about fifteen in front of him in line...

Everyone can expect certain people to die. For example, my thoughts are to see characters like Stryker, Hsu Hao, and Nitara. These are a few characters I think are easy enough to be replaced. Take into account that some characters, like the ones I have listed we could have done without. For example, Hsu Hao was basically a wanna be Kano, except he did not have a laser eye, only a device in the middle of his chest to keep him alive. He should have died after MK:DA when Jax ripped that device from Hsu Hao's chest, which killed him.

Jarek was also a Kano wannabe. He will have new moves in MKA though.
But Hsu Hao uses the same weapon moves as Kano.
I guess most fighters will die this time.
