I only played Mythologies once, and I thought it kinda' sucked. Because of that, I have certainly had more satisfaction playing MKT. I never play against humans. I simply perferct my Sub-Zero skills in an attempt to one day dethrone Noob Saibot as the supreme uberbroken in the game.

Hey guys. 
Welp, I didnt give up entirely on this game. I went ahead and popped it in my ps2 again following tips about what to activate in the console screen and practiced by alone with a 2nd controller installed.
I managed to hit some combos using Scorpion and Smoke (both play very much alike) and finally got to beat the game without too much trouble.
I realized that this game is soley dependant on combos. Try beating it without the combos and you'll find yourself bleeding from your nose out of mental frusrtation. lol.
I ended up liking it a little again and played more and more. The only bug I experience, is the no ending glitch. I only hear music but can see anything after shao khan blows up. (atleast i get the pleasure of seeing that).
Still, I feel this game is incomplete by a many miles but its actually quite fun with a 2nd player involved.
About the word "broken", what do you guys mean by that exactly. When you say Noob is broken, do you mean he sucks, or that he always wins?

it varies ith use. When a game is 'broken' it means there are things missing and buggy. When a character is 'broken' it means they can set up 'infinites' which means they can endlessly pummel your ass and easiley obtain 100% combos.

Yes. For Noob Saibot it refers to him always winning. Rain is pretty borked as well. When playing against Noob, it is basically if you jump, you lose.

Oh, ok. Wow.. Ive never had to fight against Noob in the game yet. I always fight the rest, but never Noob. Maybe its the difficulty setting I have it on.
Well, i sorta warmed up to it. Seems to be more fair and fun when playing two player mode.

The brokenness doesnt really apply to 1 player games too much because the computer is pretty much always easy to beat. Its when you play against people that know how to exploit the game that you see the brokeness.
