I doubt that. The Konquest will be about Taven, who will meet the MK characters, but I doubt he would influence the MK1-MK6 main stories.

...that is a positive no as seen in the Konquest Demo at E3...considering Sektor actually has a warship full of Tekunin warriors...it has to be beginning a new era...

My guess is that the Konquest mode of Armageddon will take place some time after MK4 but before MKD and will lead upto Blaze becoming the final boss.
Given that Sektor now has a warship and his own army, it has to be once he was defeated by Sub-Zero 6 (which occured in MKTE which is the GBA's version of MKDA). The problem with this is that there is almost no time passed since MKDA ends and MKD begins, making me wonder how Sektor got his army so fast. According to his MKTE bio, he "spread like a virus" and now owns all of Japan.

...conisdering time seems to last longer as everyone lives longer...perhaps the war was very long in consideration of what could have happened in Earthrealm...I don't doubt Sektor could create an army within the time...

Honestly, I think they should have a kind of "Recap" video avaliable for people who are going to barely enter the series. I mean, atleast they're getting one with the the characters (Like MKTrilogy was good for n00bs), but the complexity of the storylines WILL confuse people! Didn't they have something like that on MKDA or MKD?

Both MKDA and MKD had introduction videos that only covered the back story that was necessary. I would love for a complete story rundown, but we'd be talking about a video that would be somewhere around 20-30 minutes long. I doubt they will do it.

A) I doubt they'll use dual-layer blueray right off the bat.
B) That would help, except it's been stated many times already that MKA will be out for CURRENT systems.

i know i was saying if they did something for the ps3 like an beef up version of armageddon or they could put something like that in a kollectors addtion.

...I don't doubt they will have collerctor's editions for upcoming systems...and I thought they would have some interesting special features...but nothing like that...don't get your hopes up...
