With Xbox 360 now in stores and PS3 and the Wii still in development, we have seen very impressive things from all 3 of these consoles. Even though Xbox 360 is coming back with its infamous halo series and PS3 is going to feature blu-ray and a powerful processor, I believe the Wii will come out on top because; the Wii is bringing back a lot of nostalgic characters with the Wii's graphical updates and remotes, which will change gaming forever.

The Wii is going to be affordable, and it will play all old school Nintendo games, and Sega Genesis games. The games are extremly fun on Wii, It's extremly addictive. But tech heads and people who like having the uptimate in gaming machines will go out and buy a PS3...most of these people already own an X-Box 360 or plan to get one. X-Box is in a bit of a rough patch at the moment with people complaining about faulty consoles becoming more and more known. I am not sure how M$ plans to go about fixing this, but they need to do something quick, people are fearing the red circle of death. I wonder how PS3 will handle power and heat issues, with so much beefy shit inside it.
Who will win? I don't think anyone will loose put it that way.

Sony's biggest challenge is finding a way to overpower the price of the Wii and the game selection for the xBox 360. Since the PS3 will be $600, they're going to have a tough time selling against the Wii. Additionally, the PS3 will have an extremely similar game selection as the 360. Since the 360 is fairly cheaper, people will lean more towards it. (Believe me, Microsoft is already planning produst warranty replacement and fixing known problems). The third issue is that fact that so many games that were at one time Playstation-exclusive, are now moving over to other consoles. If Sony loses their major titles to others, then they are definitely in trouble.

I have been to each site and have seen every system's values and qualities. I'm sure other gamers have seen the Wii's incredible interactive gameplay. The PS3 can only win with graphics and classic PS gaming, though originality is already taken. I plan on getting a 360 only for specific hot titles though I will wait a long time until the price drops down. The Wii will win, price, gameplay, the revolution.

In short
1st) X-Box 360, not as expensive as Sony and will have a decent line up
2nd) Wii, affordable, new and inventive with some wacky games
3rd) PS3, very expensive losing third party support and many multi-formats.

-well i think the WII will since its graphics and software arent as strong as the 360 or PS3's its price is about half of theres!
-and its suppoed to have like 23+ games for its launching debut including a special Zelda twilight princess with WII remote features.
-Another reason the WII has it made is that controller its awesome they have this WII sports game were your playing baseball using the controllor like a baseball bat swinging it and everything!!
-And being able to download games from PRE gamecube era from systems such as Sega ahnd the older Nintendos thats going to be great!!!
Thus Nintendo will probably out sell the 2

The Wii is gonna crush the Xbox 360 and PS3, because of TLOZ:TP and SSB:B, it will get a double flawless victory in this war. Speaking of flawless victories, it would be sick to see MK on the Wii with the motion sensor and stuff. Also, with the built in speaker, it could make the fighting seem more intense, and probably the fatalities too.

...my friend at Gamestop said there will be only six PS3s each sold at $650...and the first that reserve the system will get it...
...I'm assuming by this action they are trying to raise demand...but I don't see what the big deal with Sony is...Xbox now has most their games and have you played the same game on both systems? The loading for PS is about 3x as long...literally...and Xbox even has more features...
...why demand something slower and straight up less as good?

...the PS3 will be known for onlinage...they're screwed...you don't need good online when you have no good games...

Specs mean absolutley nothing. Yeah I heard that it has graphics computers can't handle and the blu ray, but fancy specs aren't everything. The PS3 has almost identical games to the xbox 360 anyway. Nintendo does so great because, it has very fun and addicting games, instead of worrying on superb graphics. It is usually rare seeing a bad Nintendo game anyway. Well if you are one of those people who think that graphics are very important, then whatever, but a truly good game is very fun and addicting.

Oh man, I've got someone like you on my other forum.
He sat there and boasted the PSP for hours, saying it was better than the DS. Then we asked what his favorite games were, and he said "Oh, I just use it for the movies." Needless to say, he's pretty much hated now.
True gamers are about game-play and story. Specs mean nothing if they don't improve the games.
