Super Smash Bros. Melee doesn't compete with the graphics of Halo or Splinter Cell...though it'll take even the greatest of gamers at least a week without sleep, good air-conditioning, and no food...just to beat it...
...in fact...I still have a few trophies I've never gotten...the replay is at least 10x better...the difficulty is about 5x greater...and the variety along with originality is about 50x better...with the benefit of the doubt...
...you don't need good graphics...or Tom Clancy's work...you need Nintendo...

my question is, "who cares?"
if the console caters to your needs and wants, then what does it matter who's making the most profit from sales or which console has the best graphics or whatever.
it doesn't matter, plain and simple.

Honestly, for me, PS3 is going to win the console war because Konami will invest it's newest Music and Rhythem games on it. So, that would make me a PS3 lover. That aside, I would probably say, that in America, Wii is going to win the console war. I mean, I heard it was going to be less that 200 or 250 Dollars, it's going to have great graphic capabilities (I haven't looked up it processor stats and stuff, but I'll post it here when I do.), and it's going to be hella fun to play.

...I'm only involved with TMK...and MK Wasteland though it is a very small site...I'm not joining another for debate...there are many players of every system here...most seem to agree the Wii will win...perhaps it will not dominate...though I believe more will be sold and there will be better reviews...
...I have a Gamecube as well as an Xbox and a PS2...I play each of them...overall...my fun-and-addicting-o-meter points to the Gamecube...I enjoy many Xbox games...I have Alliance, Deception, and Monks for Xbox...I played GTA and FF on the PS2...enjoying all of them...though Nintendo is still far better...
...the Wii is a revolution with our dream...with virtual reality basically...our own world on a tv screen...online...classics...I don't see how the PS3 could possibly compete...

If SSB:B doesn't convince you that Wii will win, check out some zelda:tp stuff while your at it. I've seen footage of games from all 3 systems and I like the Wii so far. I think all the systems will do well anyway, but I have a feeling Wii will do better.

I know that the PS3 is digging it's own grave right now, and I don't think some people want to play with a controller as different as the Wii’s the Wii well also have less third party games and the Xbox 360's having a bunch of problems right now so it's hard to say who's going to win, but if I had to guess it'll be the Xbox 360 and the Wii.

...the demand for PS3s is immense right now and everyone has it filled in their heads that it will be the greatest thing to ever be released though the Wii is defiinitely not forgotten...the Wii's popularity has grown far more than I would've assumed after the Cube's release...hopefully the price doesn't throw people off and make them assume it will suck...I think all they need is awareness of its capabilities...maybe some commercial advertisement which I haven't seen at all yet...
...the 360 isn't doing so hot here...I think it's the price and how it's 'not so different' from the regular box...though the games look awesomely intense from what I've seen...the commercials always make me jump off my seat until I realize it's for the 360...Jump In's an excellent slogan since that's what people need to do...it looks far greater than I thought...though I'm surprised the PS3 is so much more popular...from what I can tell it's nothing special...anyone know something I don't?
