I should probably see if the Lin-kuei know anything about this man or that wierd chick. But first, I should probably replace my sword and make some new bullets.
Slash decides to replenish his weapons, then take the warrior and head for the Lin-Kuei temple.

You follow your path to see if you can find the men and come across the decaying carcas of the Butcher. You begin to ask around, one woman claims she saw a very mysterious man who asked her directions. You knew he was near and began searching houses. Then you saw him walking away holding a blue-haired man. The dark mist seemed to dissipate and you could see the mysterious face. You follow...
-Confront (quote dialogue and make approach)
-Attack (choose attack)
-Follow (follow warrior)
-Flee (go where you please)

You continue towards the Lin Kuei Temple when you see the kid that was in the forest.

The dreams were horrible, they cause much anguish. It also activated his inner survival reflexes. It also meant his power came out in large but short bursts. The dreams were really bad, and the worse they got, the worse he powers effect to world around his passed out body.
First was the roots. The huge roots spired out odd looking trees, mixed with the death and anguish he felt from the dreams. It literally made the trees go crazy, as his powers never expericened this kind of evil. It made the trees hungry for blood

A tree creeps toward you during your conversation and attempts to sweep with a branch.

-Attack the tree (choose attack)
-Negotiate (talk to the tree)

As they attacked the trees, the dreams subsided, but they fluxuated like crazy. The trees began to get angry, and went into the Dark Curse reflex, the worst of all. Instead of coming out as black fog, the evil from the dreams made it come out as black vines that shot at the two as they fought the trees. They tended to try to wrap around the two fighters, but they were easily avoidable. But, when you're caught, it's hard to get out alone

Vain and Slash
Vain's attack forced the tree into black flames. Slash was able to deprive one of the branches though they couldn't sustain the tree.
Vain (VainZiler)
-Attack tree (choose attack)
-Attack Slash (choose attack)
-Defend (hold ground preparing for attack)
-Commerce (with Slash)
-Flee (get the hell away from the flaming tree)
Slash (-SubZero-)
-Attack tree (choose attack)
