Hello all and welcome to my first offical RP here on TMK. Here is how this RP works:
First you post your character bio in the Master Character Bio Database (Instructions on bio for this RP posted in seperate topic.) Then you look up what has been going on so far in the RP here, and make your introduction post. Now in this RP, it will rely on your ability to coperate with others, and be able to pre-plan a few things. In this RP, there will be lots of fighting, which means no one can always win. So this means that when you fight someone else in the RP, you will have to talk with them outside of the RP about who will win, and if neither can decide who should win without arugeing, then I am to be contated and I will sort it out myself. Also, like Mortal Kombat, no one dies here, their just defeated.
Now for the story:
For generations, the Mortal Kombat tourniment has been held to decide the fate of the realms. Now that the path of Armaggedon is over a new tourniment must be held once more, to decide the fate of mortals, the way it was ment to be; in Mortal Kombat! Fighters from all over the realms have gathered to fight and defend their realms. Allances (sp?) will be formed and broken. But what is more important to you, fighting for your realm, fighting for yourself, or fighting for someone you love? Join this epic struggle of Mortal Kombat, and help decide the fate of trillions.

A massive ship carring the realms greatest warriors travels to the desination, an island that was formed for the soul purpose of Mortal Kombat. It'll be awhile before the ship arrives, this gives the chosen warriors a chance to talk amongst themselves, before being forced into kombat. A young warrior sat on a huge crate, looking about the room, seeing the other warriors. One warrior caught his eye, the shokan named Kindrock. He got off the crate and walked to the massive shokan, looking up to him. "Yo, my name is Vain, whats yours?"

"Wwll Kindrock, I really DO hope to fight you in the tourniment, it'll just make my victory be the sweeter, knowing I defeated one who is loyal to that bastard Kahn." He grin widely. "Or would you like to have a 'freindly' sparring match right now?"

The clacking of Kuroneko's geta was audiable when he walked. Of course, he didn't wear them all the time, only when it was leisure time. He walked around, being as bored and absent mided as he was. Very Osaka-esque in a way when you think about it. "Oh, Lazy Lazy..."
He had his staff with him at all times. (You never know...) "I wonder where everyone is... Hm..." He quietly mumbled about nonsense, then decided is was about time for lunch. He didn't pack a bento box with him this time, just a classic paper bag. He took out the fish and rice he had made earlier that day. Other, more elegant dishes were for ceremonies which were few and far between. He sat there, eating his delicious meal...

Vain quickly unsheaths the katana from his left hip intime to block the hammer. He then looks over to Kuroneko who was just eating. "That looks pretty good." His mind slipped onto the food, and paid no more attention to the shokan.

As he was watching the fight begin, he noticed that it was over as quickly as it started. He looked at Vain, he seemed to be infatuated with the food he made. He spoke in a relativly quiet voice, it helped people not get distracted from his random mumbling. "Hey, there's more in the bag if you want some..."

Kindrock lifted his foot to the back of the ignorant soul. He fell face forward, then Kindrock looked up to Kuro. He walked forward not paying attention to the face-planted warrior.

I stood there, watching the over-abundance of testosterone flow among these warriors. Do they realize the importance of this event? I doubt they do, but anything is possible. I'll leave them to their blatant weapon-flaunting, and continue to ponder the next course of action.

He looked the man that was suddenly on the floor, and laughed a little> He was more mature than that, but he just decided to let it go. Plus, it would create a childish facade... That could be an advaantage in the long run. Suddenly, he noticed Slash. He was rumored to know a lot of Aikidou, but Kuro didn't know much about Aikidou, he just liked the flexibilty and advantages of wearing a hakama.
"Hm..."
He had noticed he had finished he lunch, yet, he just kept picking air with his chopsticks and putting it in his mouth. He stopped that, then put the sticks bag in his bag. They were sharp metal, you never know when warrior might bother you during lunch.

Kindrock looked down at Vain and smirked, then walked toward a quiet spot to think. Then he watched the mysterious warrior that the child was headed to in caution.

Vain got back up and rubbed his face a bit, sighing. "Well that was a cheap trick, and here I was trying to be nice." He cracked his neck and look back up to Kindrock. "I'll remember that during the tourniment."
