Vain shook his head as Kindrock left. "He is a shokan of great honor, but fights for a foolish cause... though, I guess my reason, my true reason for fighting, is just as foolish...." Vain sighed, and continued eating.

Opens the door looking at people smilling and some angry and all eating he walks past people with quick moves he doges people so he dosent have to say excuse me. He sees a chair in the corner close to were Vain sits he sits in the corner silent and not eating he sits watching every singal person in the room. He watches vain and Kindrock talk.

Vain's eyes shift to the new face, he hadn't seen him on the boat, but then again, the boat was massive and held thousands, so it wasn't something to worry about to much. "Yo." He called out. "The name's Vain, whats yours?"

Most of us would view Shao Kahn to be evil, yet there are those, like Kindrock, who view him as a great ruler. Same with me... some view me as a great guy, others view me as a murderous monster. And depending on how you act around me, depends on which side you see." Vain stood up from his seat, having finished eating. "Now if you excuse me, I have business to attend to." Vain left the dinning hall and ran off to a dark corner of the island.

"Hm..." He had finished eating, and analyzed what Vain had said. Of course, he had kind spaced, and cut air with his knife, and brang the air to his mouth with the fork. He had no idea there was no more food on the plate. He had finally noticed it after a couple of "Bites" and looked at Slash.
"Oh! You're back! How've you been?" He was a bit shy, but he did notice Nightmare though.

Vain sat at the islands edge, the cool nights wind blowing through his hair, and the gentle waves of the ocean splashed against the rocks of the shore.
"She is here..." He sighed heavily. "Can I fight this battle? Can I honstely succeed? Or, will she be in my way..." Tears started to run down his face. The young teen looked off at the ocean.

Watching in the shadows, Arc laughes at the nonsense that was happening in the boat.
OCC: Arc has a sense of humor and thought the boat seen was really funny and kept laughing once he got on the island
