yeah, the vision at the foot of my bed has changed from... *breathes deeply* Samara... *exhales sharply* to the guy from Hostel in the surgeon's mask.
I think it could be a step in the right direction, however. =x _________________ Nikki: your friendly neighborhood moderator. ^_^

When I was 4 till about 7 years old, I had this horrible fear of Freddy Krueger. I really shouldn't have watched Nightmare on Elm Street. My siblings thought I was upstairs, but I was watching through the stairs.
I always thought that when I was having a bath, he would come up swimming underneath me and kill me. I'm not totally sure as I can't remember too well, but I think it may have been in the movie.
I couldn't have a bath for years after - it always had to be a shower.
Now it seems so stupid. _________________

So far the scariest movie i've seen was the blair witch project, that movie
scared the hell out of me I watched it when I was about 4 years old
it's a story about these three high school students who get lost in the woods and never come back.During that time they filmed their little
journey across the woods when they disapeard someone found their
video tape and that tape is what made the movie I'm not gonna go into details about the movie because I'm sure some of you haven't seen it so anyway the movie was based on a true story you might have noticed that already though _________________

That's agoraphobia, my friend, and that's not strange at all. Actually, that is the main point most agoraphobics protest as their justification.

I was so dissapointed in that movie it was nauseating I cam for blood and gore! All I got was forty five minutes of naked girls and then two scenes of blood, one scene of comedy, and the most fake and juvenile looking eye cut in the world! (Not actually complaining about the nudity, BUT THAT'S NOT WHAT I PAID FOR!!!!!!!)
Anyway, I am clostrophobic (sp?) as far as fears go. I can do just about anything... as long as I can get out easiliy. It's the only fear I have. _________________

...so I was...agoraphobic? Well...I'm glad I got over my...agoraphobia...
...heheh...gracias bloodmeadow...no one actually explained what the hell my problem was...my mother just thought I was psychotic...an early Lecter or something...haha...now I'm far more scared of closed spaces rather than open ones...
...I though about it and I have two major fears this day...one is the fear of not breathing...not like drowning...but more like being suffocated with a pillow...wow that freaks me out...so many images...makes me want to sleep on the roof...as if my mother wouldn't find me...*looks left and right*
...secondly...and most of all...I'm afraid of ants...if I see a single ant in my room some random night I will NOT sleep...this problem is obvious...when I was young I was engulfed by them in my sleep...bit me all over...I was basically a brown banana...in the sense that I was rotten and no one would touch me...much less taste me...haha...hate 'em more than death now... _________________ "...don't think it's yours just 'cause you marked it with your urine."

When you're 4, that amount of blood as someone gets ripped to pieces by something invisible isn't too lame. It's bloody frightening! I'd still probably find it scary if I tried watching it today... xD
I've never seen The Shining. One day, I plan to watch that and Poltergeist. My aunt was just telling me yesterday how my mum forced her to watch Jaws (we both suffer from extreme sharkophobia), and Poltergeist and The Exorcist.
I'm gonna wait a few years, till I can actually handle a horror movie.
My friend said The Descent was one of the best films he'd ever seen.
It did happen?! I remembered something correctly for a change!
Wasn't the shower scene in Psycho? I liked Psycho a lot. _________________

from my experience, you only get more afraid of horror movies when you get older. when I was younger, I absolutely LOVED the horror and gore of Halloween, Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, et cetera. but I think now that I'm older and I understand what's supposed to be happening to these people, I empathise with them and it's scary and actually makes me hurt sometimes. =/
so if you wanna watch any horror movies, you might wanna do it now. ^_^; _________________ Nikki: your friendly neighborhood moderator. ^_^

Really? Thank you, Nikki.
But when I do get scared after watching a horror movie, I usually go downstairs to my mum's bedroom and complain that I can't sleep. I end up sleeping for a phase of 3 nights on her sofa.
Night 1 - no sleep at all.
Night 2 - a few hours.
Night 3 - a lot better than Night 1.
She doesn't enjoy having me sleep in her room. So she tells me off for watching scary movies.
I only just realized yesterday that now I can sleep okay after watching The Grudge. I connected the portable DVD player to my hi-fi after realizing that was possible.
Sounded awesome! But scary.
12th time, and finally I still sleep.
I'm not scared while watching the movie. It's at night-time, when I'm trying to sleep, and all the images flash through my head. Sounds dumb during the day, but when I'm lying in bed, it seems normal. _________________
