Throughout the new games, which characters do you think made the best return and which character made the worst return?
My thoughts were Rain, Stryker, Kabal, and Shinnok so far. but I will decide later for one.

mine would have to be strkery. and sektor, i just love both of them they were fun to play whit.

Best return: Ermac. The former ´error macro´ had become full-fledged character who is very important for the main story (helping Liu Kang to save the fallen warriors).
Worst return: Shao Kahn. Don´t get me wrong- I like him, but the whole ´Oh my God! It was only a clone!´ story wasn´t that great.

I agree, that Shao Kahn's return wasn't so great. I wish Shao Kahn would keep his MK3 costume because the new look is annoying. The weird new helmet and the sandles.. Everything else on the outfit is fine though.
I also agree that Ermac made a great return. He was cool in the older games but was kinda pointless. Thats why I was surprised to see him return.
Im also excited for Sektor because he was my favorite cybrog in the classic games and hes different from the other two (Smoke, Cyrax).
As for Stryker, He was a great character and I enjoy him but lets face it, hes kinda pointless especially when we have Jax. (I prefer Stryker btw) Also, Its great to see Stryker to return because hes one of those characters you realy couldn't picture returning.

I agree that Ermac was a hero but he wasn't the hero of Mortal Kombat Deception. Shujinko was the hero for Mortal Kombat Deception even though he was the fool who gave Onaga what he didn't but he was the reason MKD was titled "Deception" which makes him very important.

Stryker is defently going to be the best returning character. He has been absent from the games FAR to long, and now he is back and ready for me to use to kill everyone with once again.

I've said this before but how they made Stryker was a little cheap. His costumes ok just he looks like a blonde kenshi.

I seriously dont get how he resembles a blonde Kenshi... Their body build is different, their hair style is different, their outfit is entirely different. there's little to no simularties

I agree. They don't resemble in any way, shape, or form at all. I should blaze up some more crack b4 I play again.....
But I still havent's seen Shao Kahn's new MKA outfit. It sounds horrible though. Can anyone provide a pic???

...his outfit's not new...it's from Deception on Gamecube...
...best return:
Physically: Stryker, Rain, and Ermac made some drastic changes and are of the best for sure though the best is Shinnok...so much different to fit the character you would imagine when hearing his storyline...it couldn't look better if it was real...
Gameplay: Stryker seems to be much better gameplay wise...not saying he was bad before Vain...though I've seen Kintaro in action and his capabilities are incredible...all he needs is a chance *points to self*...
Storyline: Ermac in Deception by far...giving him a purpose made Deception that much better...though Goro in Deception for Gamecube was close...and how it molded around Kitana's Alliance storyline and gave such an awesome purpose to the release...
