Well what we KNOW is that it will end the lives of almost all the MK characters. It is the end of the MK series on current gen consles. And we also know, it is the end of this story line, for a new one will start with the next MK game.

i dont know i think that ed and the team has some surpises instore for us.

Yes, Ed Boon said its the end of this series. I also stated that they always have to keep fresh new stuff in the games and if they are making a new chapter theres going to be new series in the Mortal Kombat. So its not over....

The fact of the matter is that this is the end of the current MK series, clearly stated by the MK team themselves. There may be, however, a few surprises in store for us.  It is likely, though, that the storyline at hand, here, is over because of the title name, Mortal Kombat Armageddon, which signals the end for the majority of the characters here.  The only question left to ask ourselves is which characters are the creators going to leave alive? My opinion, Scorpion and Sub-Zero will definitely survive, but who knows about the other characters?

okay this ones easy. EVERY ONE DIES. Shang Tsung dies in Liu Kang's furious grip and gets his neck snapped, Kang dies after doing what he set out to do. Kano dies in big fight against Sonya, and on and on and on. only god like characters and already dead ones will come back. Sub, Scorp, Raiden, Fujin, I cant think of others but you get the picture. In the end, any mortal WILL die and they can do nothing about losing to the more popular characters.

Isn't there supposed to be an extra ending if you beat the game with all the characters?  I heard it from somewhere but I'm not sure if it's true or not.

I also heard that same rumor but I really didn´t believe it. I think the end of MK not is in the near future, at least I hope it isn´t.

I heard that all the characters are going to die and well never be seen again, unless it's just a little cameo in a prequel or a flashback or something.
