...I was going to start this thread but decided I didn't have enough to say about it...
...I have to admit it was a good movie though there is something much stronger I was ashamed about...I know the manager of our town's theater...she told me that out of the Superman Returns and Pirates of the Carribean midnight showings...Pirates of the Carribean sold out two days earlier...
...I was pissed...and then to see how long it stayed in the front of the theater as Superman quickly died off...I have to admit I was ashamed of everyone...people just don't understand classics anymore...I know it was different without Christopher Reeves but that doesn't keep you from the damn 007 movies...
...great movie or not...every Superman folded Pirates of the Carribean ten times over...I'm ashamed of the human race at this disgrace...no offense to PotC...but fuck everyone who didn't watch Superman 'cause they didn't feel like it...

I thought Dead Man's Chest was brilliant, although I LOATH cliffhangers. The third film's already in production and i'm quite anxious.

...heheh...few would consider me a 'fanboy'...but I strongly believe in past generations and their need to survive...say what you want...Superman was better...if you think Dead Man's Chest was better than Superman Returns then I have to admit we would have to fight to the death on many topics to see things on the same level...
...in a couple of decades when Pirates of the Carribean is a classic as well...I'll still say Superman is better...sword ready...

Oh my. Haha! Weapons should remain sheathed, because I, myself, am also a Superman "fanboy", however the damn liberal media whores and their less-then-logical bias pissed me off. Despite the "similarities" Superman is NOT the re-telling of Jesus Christ.

...heh...I try to see things religiously the least I can...especially when it comes to comic movies...
...though I could definitely see how that would be considered the 'retelling of Jesus Christ' in which case it really makes me sick...but not true...and media can go screw itself...
...the media is a lot like a lawyer...they could be your best friend but they'll still lie to you...
...and Superman is like John Lennon...you can say what you want about him...you can try to screw him up as much as possible...but he still kicks ass...I mean come on...he's John Lennon...and Superman is...Superman...
...my point is...Pirates of the Caribbean was good...real good...but it'll never mean as much to ME as an individual than Superman...
