I thought I would give you guys an update on upcoming updates:
While speaking with Midway on the phone recently trying to get some Media for TMK fans, a few things were revealed during the conversation that you will find VERY interesting:
1. Within the next 2 weeks there will be updates on Gamespot and IGN about Armageddon.
2. About 1 month after that I was told "the floodgates will open" with MKA assets.
3. I requested the cast renders in PSD format, and was told that the current cast render was just a medium size render and a new high res cast render is being made, probably more up to date and may include some of the "secret characters"
4. Midway are pleased with the feedback about Motor Kombat.
5. (this info came from someone else, but an official contact) I enquired about the Select Screen image, after saying I was a bit disapointed, and was told "It's a working progress"
Thats all for now, but the next updates are clear, most likely the official site will upon first, then IGN / Gamespot, then after that some screens and hopfully renders will start to come through.
Disclaimer: Nothing in this thread is garanteed to happen, sometimes things chage fast at Midway but for now, everything in this thread I was told officialy, just don't come back here in 2 months if there hasn't been an update and call me a liar.

...I'm glad they're still planning on updating the select screen...I really felt dissappointing at my first look...
...and the "floodgates" will open around Sep. 9 or so...just checkin' to keep it in mind...
...and they really need to update the cast render...that's awesome...I hope they don't show any 'secret' characters...I prefer to be surprised...

...'floodgates' means that there's a barrier holding back all the water (information) that will open up around sep. 9...so we'll get a ton of information around that time...

so far things are looking awesome. Just wondering who the devil is that dude nest to Liu Kang. I like the select screen too. About the secret characters, I would prefer to be surprised and be like omg this and omg that hehe.... But one thing is bothering me and all of us, Patience.

...the 'dude' to the left Kang is Daegon...Taven's brother...he looks a lot older though...but I guess it adds to his 'evil-like' character...

I think if they do the Cast Render agian, they should definatly put everyone in....the cast render is simply awesome, if they do it I am going to make an A1 poster from the rende and put it in my room.

im with ya there. imagine not hearing about chamelon then half way through completing the game he magicly apears in a fight
