...definitely sounds like a Geddon reference to me...but I can't figure what it means...do the Elder Gods have a portal for them to escape Heaven? Or is its purpose for people to enter Heaven?
...or are they just talking about the portal to the Nexus? In which case it would only be talking about the 'chosen one' going to the Nexus to be able to confront the Elder Gods...eg. Scorpion's storyline...

Ed Boon did say that they were developing the blaze charcter. it looks like they were developing his story. they just didnt let us know, their leaving little hints here in their just to let us know . now when we play it were going to be like i remember that from somewhere. but it could be nothing.

Playing further on, I found another Armageddon referance, in MKD's konquest, Rains outworld mission is to find Goro's Shokan blade and return it to him, when you do so Rain says he is going to keep it insteed...It's the same weapon Rain has in Armageddon
