It's the male character Chameleon. No pics (or even truly explicit confirmation) of the female Khameleon yet.

I honestly think that they have royally screwed up and named that male Chameleon "Khameleon." Honest mistake for a casual gamer... inexcuseable way to err by the creator.

...according to us storyline followers...it is a huge deal...and if they truly did screw that up...then one playable character will be left out...destroying the whole purpose of 'every playable character'...

It does matter.
You can tell the male from female by their name. Chameleon (with the C) is the male version, was available on the PS1, Sega Saturn and PC versions of MK Trilogy. He had no storyline or ending, and was basically the 7 male ninjas combined. The female Khameleon is with the "K" ad the beginning. She was only in N64's MK Triology and came with a biography and ending, and featured the female ninja's moves. She is the last female of Reptile's race and is trying to seek him out so that they can restart their species and restore their realm to its former beauty.
So why is this a big deal? Because so many fans have had to watch Reptile serving everyone else, and if female Khameleon were to be there, there is at least the chance of her plan coming to fruition. As for the male Chameleon, who knows what'll happen, since he has no storyline at all currently. Most fans want to see Khameleon return because she is the one who has the storyline. At this point, there is no confirmation of her being in the game. Chameleon on the other hand is.

Almost everyone I know does, that's what makes the game more interesting...well for me...I follow the storylines everytime I buy MK game.

I´m also big storyline follower, though I have to admit that I could live without Chameleon and even without Khameleon in Armageddon. But if they will be there, then I won´t complain about it
