this is a sweet however I'm a xbox and gamecube gamer. any news on the horisen for UMK3 on xbox version???
I'll get it for the wii when it's released as well.
just thought i'd let you know dude I'm gunna stop visiting this wicked site for a while. the reason is I don't want to have to much info about the game from you lot as being in the UK i'll have to wait longer for the release, & i don't want to know any of the enddings or stuff like that till i've finished it with all 62+ players! then I'll be back.

This is great news for a ps2 owner. i and by the looks of it it seems to be cheaper than the the one for deception. i payed $64.36 for that one.

...I'm sure it's cheaper as it's still previous gen...
...and I like the cover boxes...kinda...I wish they had Goro alone...I don't like that one 'cause Cage brings it down...and Shao Kahn is awesome but Sindel isn't good enough for cover work...maybe the Kano and Sonya one...but I'll probably end up with classic dragon...
...I guess I might buy PS2 AND Wii versions...the Wii Geddon better be cheap...

i think that i will just get the Goro,Cage one. it just will probley be better. but what color are the boxes.

It's utter bullshit in my opinion, that the limited edition is actually limited to one of the consoles! And worse off, they made it the PS2!! I'm furious because not only do I detest Playstation and refuse to get one, but Midway has chosen to release MK -AR's collector's edition to this system alone! It's a bigger slap in the face than when they gave Gamecube's version of Deception Goro and Shao Kahn! This is the most disappointing news regarding Armageddon yet.

Aww i love my ps2. its about time we got something. the gamecube got extra figthers and now we get a prmiume pack. not that i'm trying to rub it in or anything.

although I'm pleased that they chose to release the premium pack on my system of choice, I do think that everyone should get the same opportunity.
maybe something similar will be released on the Xbox (and maybe Wii... they did say it'd be on Wii, right?) counterparts later... ?

good to see you back in full anti PS mode Amphibious, I feel the same and even tho I own a gamecube I too was tourmented by the extra players in MK-D as it was never released on gamecude in the UK. in fact it's the only reason I went a got an Xbox on the reliase day for MK-D. But I refuse to do the same with the Play Station2.

Mdway have only confirmed 4 premium editions on PS2. They havn't said anything about X-Box or Wii yet, this could be good or bad, think back to MK:D both systems got the PP or KE (but xbox got 4 covers) I think as long as each system gets a KE / PP everything should be cool
I think Midway will make one special edition for X-Box...I think it's kinda weird there hasn't been a Scorpion / Sub-Zero cover, don't you? They are easily the most popular MK characters.

...I will buy two versions if I must...I'll dip into my Macromedia/Adobe fund for the Wii version though I really hope Xbox gets the better edition as it is always faster and personally more enjoyable than PS2...
...about the cover choices I also thought that was odd...no Rayden...Sub...Scorp...Reptile...or any new characters as if they had to fire their advertisement team (though it should still be common sense)...

Premium packs or special editions (and any other name they get) don't thrill me as much as they used to because they are all too common now really. But still its good that they are giving you a reason to buy the premium pack.
