Now, I don't want to sound like a whiney little jerk or anything because I am greatly impressed that the crew would take the time to update the render accordingly. But I am quite upset about a couple of things.
1. They updated all the characters so that they would be in their primary costumes yet, they failed to change stryker who doesn't even wear his MK3 costume. I know, I know, who cares about Styker, But, I mean, if they will take their time to redo everyone else, come on!
2. I would like to know why they thought i was a good idea to make Sareena look just like Kira... and at that, quite ugly.
3. And hear's my main gripe...
CHAMELEON WAS NEVER CONFIRMED IN THE GAME!!!!!!!!
if you take a closer look into your research, you will notice that when Midway gave hints about the ? bozes, they typed : "Khameleons tend to hind"
and if you read your OXM, it specifically says " MK Trilogy's ultra-pallete-swapped ninja Khameleon appear in 3-D for the first time"
Never once was MALE CHAMELEON confirmed. They felmale, however was many times, in fact, however, she does not appear in the render at all!
4. Neither does Taven or Daegon!
Not to complain, but I'm sure there are some other people out there who have noticed this and are a little ticked.

It's just that when they do things like this, it make me feel like they have made a mistake. Maybe they don't remember their own game and think that maybe the Male is Khameleon or that female Khameleon won't be in the game at all and that would surpise the hell out of me.

Wel, doesn't everyone make mistakes? I mean, IGn is well respected, yet I remember something about them Misspelling Motaro. For a while, I thought Khameleon was that male one, and Chameleon being the female one D:

1. I care about Stryker, and I would have liked to seen the MKA look on him for the render.
2. She really doesnt look like Kira, though agreed, she seems ugly as sin now, lol.
3. Who cares, Chameleon is the PS1 version of the two from the MKT games, and I am a PS follower, so I am happy.
4. Yea, It'd been nice to have them in there too.

...PS2 did claim that they would have an extra character...Khameleon anyone?
...and I've already stated my render complaints...though I just noticed that Sareena DOES look like Kira...as well she looked as beautiful as sin before...screwed her up with that hair...

I think Sareena looks much better now, but that´s just me 
Anyway, I´m quite upset Taven and Daegon aren´t there, because (from what I´ve seen) Taven could become one of my favorite characters + they should finally show us Daegon, because the only thing we have seen so far was his avatar on the select screen (which is now even locked!) and I would like to see his costume and compare him with his brother.

Have you visited a shrink lately? Even |{rave doesn't like her look, and he thinks the new Sheeva is sexy!  Oh, and Sareena looks more like Jade in the render now than she does Kira, but that's just my opinion anyways.
I'm just as angry that Khameleon is not present on this render, and male Chameleon is, especially since he was never confirmed and Khameleon was! Also, at first I thought Jarek in that poster was Taven, but then I realized it wasn't. 
As for Stryker looking like he did in MK3, I'm as suprised as you are bloodyshadow. Though I admit he's not one of my favourite characters or anywhere near that, I like his new SWAT uniform and think they should have at least updated his look in the render to that or his primary MK -AR uniform. Especially since they changed the minor details on Noob Saibot, you'd think changing Stryker would be hard to miss.
I love how they threw Motaro in the far, right corner, and how he's holding his hand up the exact same way Goro is. He should have his other hand up just to be different a bit.

Now that I've spilled my negativities towards the new character poster, I would like to say some good things about it. My primary praise is that Reptile has his Shaolin Monks look and NOT his MKDA one! With this in mind, I think it's safe to assume he's back to his "MK1/MK2" form in terms of evolution, and that when Onaga left his body, he reverted to that uneveolved state. I still don't know how they're going to explain Onaga's presence in the game as well as Reptiles...
Next up, the additions of Meat, Chameleon and Motaro are awesome. It's about time they updated that pic to at least include Motaro, but Meat and Chameleon make it even better.
I also like how they changed Scorpion's look. His Deception one was ok, but not as good as the one they've given him.

I too agree with the minor issues within this new Poster[render] they have made but yes I do mind the whole awkwardness on how they fixed up a few characters and added a few and not others.
I am not that big a Stryker fan but at least, they shouldve put this new Swat look and maybe keep his MK3 look for his alternate attire, cuz it doesnt look that bad. ALong with Kai, he doesnt wear that, and I believe that is his alternate attire but he doesnt wear that outfit at all so its like amah?!
Sareena looks like an old hag with some crapy plastic surgery who has a passion in looking like Jade and Kira combined.(I also noticed, like i saved the render image that Sareena. Kira and Jade ar in a upper right diagnol row and I zoomed in and she look like a mixture of both of them) I dont know but wtf happened to Sareena's face? Damn she wasnt that ugly in Mythologies Sub Zero neither Konquest mode in MKD neither the earliar render. I am not to happy with that look.
NOw Motaro, its about time they added him on this render and I am happier than ever like they mentioned early that he might not make it in or whatever. But now, that pose, true as one of our fellow memebers pointed out, he has Goro's exact pose. I was expecting a different one like, his MK3 pose where he has both arms lowered in almost a 90 angle. ALso from my strong observation, Motaro has five fingers and he never had five finders he had four. Though it might not be that big a deal, I still think they should at least keep some consistency with his look.
REptile, its like heaven to me that he is the in his rightfully form MKSM, why rightfully? Well that model is by far the best out of all the other evoultions of Reptile, I really disliked his looks in MKDA, it was a awful move on or klassic reptilian friend. So that is awesome.
Chameleon, I never thought he was going to make it in the game like he, unlike Khameleon, had no story. I mean he looks ridiculously awesome but I am super disappointed at the missing Khameleon. ALso Meat, I dont even like that moron of a character, but he looks pretty damn awesome. I am starting to think that he might be one of the creatures in MKSM that you face that are called like Bloody Skeleton and the other ones with the Green little auras in their belly's and might have some sort of a story where he might be like one of the most powerful ones or something.
Noob, why did they use; though it may seem that way; Photoshop on Noob? Why donet they just put up an updated Noob that is all Black and what not?
I think they should redo this render and make it look more professional, and forgive me for insulting the way they put this together, but I think they can do better. I say fix those errors and then we will be happy.
All I want is the best for this game not the worse, i know I am making it seem like a big deal but I heart Mortal Kombat and all its games and success and I wouldnt want it to get so many fans upset.
forgive me once again and yes I am ticked about it...

Now for the most part i liked the updsted roster. like most of you i am ticked that they didn't add taven, daegon, or khameleon on there. as for sareena, i think they made her ugly on purpose for some reason.

...I'm done raving about the poster...it needs better quality image wise secondly to the pointless errors already shown...
...about Sareena they could want her to look more ugly purposely...she is a Demon on the inside...perhaps they are trying to convert her like Reptile...perhaps her alternate outfit will be a female Demon...that I wouldn't mind as I'd rather see that than her ugly-ass primary look...
...though they did state that they may have a Sareena sexy poster like Mileena's...but who knows...

I'm glad for all the feedback, however, I don't want this to come off as a total insult-fest. I'm proud of the MK team for taking the time to update the render. As a matter of fact, I couldn't care less if they did or not. It's just the fact that the team is listening to just about EVERY fan request for the simple reason that most characters will never be seen again and they want them to go out in style. They only have one more chance to do this right and if they screw up and call Chameleon "Khameleon Wins!" or forget the female entirely, then they have royallt screwed up and there goes their final chance I for one do not want to see that happen. They have been so nice, in a word, to listen to all the fans and they have done a great job working out "every" character, even one's that the team hates or does not consider to be characters. It would just be such a shame to see Khameleon left out in the dust on this last chance.
Also, if Reptile it reverting back to MK2-esque style (even though only by fan request,) wouldn't it make sense that he is being reunited with Khameleon?
okay, third rant complete.

Even if they wanted to make her look like a demon, making her look like an ugly freak mix of Kira and Jade hardly does that. The least they could do is make her look like an actual demon if that was their intent, not some ugly, old hag. Her look in the old render made her one of the hottest MK babes, more so than Kitana in my opinion. But now...I just don't know what to think...

I also heard this. Hopefully they'll use her old-poster look for that, or there is no way it could be even slightly considered "sexy". 
As for Reptile's reverting back to his MK1MK/2 -esque look, he definatly should have the chance to meet Khameleon. Though I fear both these characters will not survive Armageddon, the least they could do is have the two unite before death. Reptile's been through enough shit to die without meeting the last female of his race. Even if they never had either of them in future games, they could have them run off to restart their race together or something...
One more thing, if in the game they have it spelled "Khameleon" despite the fact they have Chameleon in there, I would loose all faith in the MKTeam and Ed Boon. Though the likelihood of this is slim-to-none, the fact I'm worrying about it shows that the people of the MKTeam have fucked up enough before to make me fear that kind of mistake. But we'll have to wait and see, perhaps Khameleon will in fact be a super-unlockable. It'd be awesome if she was only in the X-Box (and MAYBE Wii) systems and not in the PS2 one, since they get all the other kontent.

...that would be horrifying...I want ALL the kontent on one disc...but then again I know they like to make life difficult...
...PS2 stated they will have an EXTRA character hinting towards the only possible choices: Khameleon, or that Orochi Hellbeast from Monks...though perhaps they'll bring back the seemed to be forgotten Hornbuckle to fight Blaze in the long run like the good old days...but who knows...
...though I do know it would piss me off if PS2 was the only system to get that character...though I don't dought the Wii will take care of it...
