lol I didn't have to cut it, It was on a black background so high res that the edging auto selects...if you think I did that cut job take it up with Midway cause they did 
As for the lighing, it had to be darker than the forground characters...if you have a bad monitor it may look alot darker than it is.
Mileena was a PSD so I didn't need to cut her out at all...Kitana was a rushed cut job, you can see the edging on her.

...I know what render the Baraka image came from...I believe it's the saliva one? But the problem is that with the saliva and the background Baraka just fits in the image...something about the converted background doesn't fit...I can't pinpoint it...but it's there...look at it and say there's nothing wrong...
...and I understand the foreground characters had to be lighted better but if the background was light as well then there'd be no dilemna...except for the fact it'd look stupid...so I understand why you did it that way...
...as well I know you didn't need to cut the Mileena image I only said 'cut' in order to say convert I guess...though it only helps explain why Mileena was easier to convert than Baraka...as well Kitana's rushed job from her ending...still looks fuckin' awesome...haha...
