Apparetnly Raiden is just going to be Raiden and there will be no Dark Raiden but hey they could just not be disclosing information about it

...they haven't mentioned it though all images of him show regular Rayden...but storyline-wise it would only make sense for him to be Dark Rayden...besides...if he's not I'll be disappointed...

It could just be that for whatever reason they took his MKDA model for previous game-testing and they will soon put in his Deception one for the final release. Though I have no idea as to why they would take this approach, it is one possible explanation. Really though, he should be Dark-Raiden in Armageddon to maintain the storyline. If he isn't, then perhaps Armageddon takes place some time after Deception, and something happened to return Raiden to normal.

Have anyone else noticed, that even in Deception, they still used classic Raiden renders (i mean the official renders) and even one of the loading screens still showed normal Raiden (I´m not talking about the cut out of intro loading screens)? 
Anyway, if they´re going to use classic Raiden, they could at least put Dark Raiden in as (one of) his alternative costume (I really really really don´t like classic Raiden)

On mortalkombat.org they have listed all the alleged characters that are to be in the game and it never sais anything about Dark Raiden it just sais Raiden - i like classic Raiden hes just so cool

...well Dark Rayden's name is Rayden...and MKO is just another site...nothing that would know something we don't know...
...but I'm sure if not for primary...Rayden's alt. costume will be Dark Rayden for sure...and with two alternates...I hope they have the sense to put his Deception alternate...personally that costume was of the three greatest costumes of all characters in any game...

i don't know if, with all the info that will be in the game to start with that there will be any space left for alt. costumes or any need. i think the midway team would just pick the costume truest to a character and stick with it(which is kinda why i like regular liu kang better because he anything but evil or whatever, and Rayden's MKII costume is probly his best if you ask me)

...I could definitely see any characters in Monks should have their Monks costume for their classic look...as well all characters should have a classic look, new look and random-awesome/future look...but that's just wishful thinking...

I wouldn´t mind Kano having his MKSM look or Sonya and Jax for that matter. But they will probably have their MKDA looks.
