no membership = shitty wmv streaming @ low bitrate
free membership = very decent size high quality MPEG file
paid membership = no limits, high-res heaven

I don't think those will be his weapons considering his alternative costume will be his spirit form, in which case he won't have his chains/shackles on anymore. His weapons will most likely be whatever they were in Deception.
Back on the topic of the Liu Kang Kard, I thought it was pretty awesome. While the information on the kard was a bit limited (they all were, even the ones available on the Deception Kollector's Edition disc) the video was cool and the historical backdrop of Liu Kang was worth while. I'm really pissed these kharacter kards will likely be limited to the Special Edition Armageddon on the PS2.  They should have a petition to get that on the X-Box.

hehe why i love my choice of getting a ps2 along time ago instead of a xbox the collectors edition should be really sick from the features i read it has.

I'm glad the news finally made it here. I left a notification before there was any news about it. I was surprised that I was the one who put it up first.
I was happy about the video in general. But for some reason, the thing I liked most was that they had a narrator for his bio. I don't know, that just seems cool to me. I got sick of always missing two of three words at the end of the Trading kards for Deception.
All in all, very little new information, but it was a nice, entertaining bit of footage.

The most funny thing was Liu Kang surprising Shang Tsung 
And about his weapon- I would prefer the hookchains because:
a)they fit well his new personality
b)Nunchakus were originally Cage´s weapon.
But off course, there is the problem with his alt costume, which could be solved if they would give the hookchains even to his ´human´ form (I wouldn´t call it spirit form anymore, because his body and spirit united, which is obvious regarding his character card)

Well Ed Boon called it his spirit form, and we have yet to find out if his ending is even canon or not, so he could still be a spirit, like in Ermac's ending. Or a zombie.

I assume his ending has become true, because the zombie body itself (without soul) has no reason to revenge on Shang Tsung (as you can see in the movie), which means that Liu Kang is again in control of his body
