I like System of a Down,Linkin Park, and Black eyed peas
also some old rock bands like Metalica

...wow it makes me sad when you say older bands and bring up Metallica...I'd hardly consider them 'old'...
...but since the topic's here...I mainly listen to Petty and Lennon...though mostly Meatloaf...though I doubt you have any idea that they're more than food...

I made a topic about this already, but whatever. I like Van Halen(I got live without a net) a few days ago and it is just awesome. I like a lot of other guys too like, Metallica, Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Judas Priest, and Rush etc. I also like Jazz but I am not gonna get into that.

Your right Krave that band is not old I forgot the fact that Metalica
did make a new song I forgot what it was called though 
and onretilom I like jazz too.

...a not-so popular band is Spiderbait...original name and my favorite song is 'Fucking Awesome' though their 'Black Betty' remake is what turned me on to them...

I enjoy a variety of music as well, but I can't think of that many artists. ^_^;
my favorite band is radiohead, my favorite artist is Ben Folds, and my favorite composer is Igor Stravinsky. =)

 That's not all of them, Nikki. And remember, I only like on average 1 or 2 songs from each.
I was just demonstrating the musical variety!
Main genres include: rock, electronic music (inc. ambient, industrial, dance etc.), R'n'B, hip-hop, rap, jazz, classical, pop and a lot of others.
 I like music.

Metallica has been around since '81. I'd say they can be classified as old.
