has anyone seen Srtyker or Rain. Stryker looks hard core cop and Rain looks completely different but still has that old rain still in him

Yeah most 2D charachters have been redone. Also the ones from MK4.

It really makes you wonder  , i mean they had chacthers you loved all they way back then, why hadent they put them in some other games before armageddon. What made them wait so long to bring back rain...and the others.

I read OXM and it said that rain was made as joke and boon said he tinted scorpion purple and put rain in the life bar then he was added in mktrilogy and that was why he wasnt added in any other game and srtyker didnt have a story to belong in any of the games

Well, Styker could have had PLENTY of stories to be added to, but MK figured he wasn't a popular character, so didn't bother. Which is BULL, because what little fan base Stryker DOES have, is very loyal and has been dieing to see him again. And now, they crush our hopes, and confirm that he is being brought back, just to die off for good.... bastards.... (Yes, I am a Stryker fan, probibly the biggest one)

Did anyone really understand the purple Rain joke? I personally think Prince is an okay singer (I don't really remember hearing him, but Ed Boon likes him so he should be atleast okay)

I think it's a referance to Rain being "G4y" It might even be a further referance to people saying "Rain is G4Y!" on forums before MK:D came out.

...if it was true it would be pretty ballsy to mention it on any games...so we'll never know...
...and Arcadlamious Rain was actually added in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3...before Trilogy...

I liked Rain in MKT. He was fun to play as. He had a cool Fatality too where he summoned lightning which repeatedly struck the opponent until he/she exploded. Very good juggler in MKT too.

That's go to be the best.
Anyway, I am very pleased to see the return of all these characters left in the dust, however, I'm somewhat disappointed, although it was lame and pointless, Stryker does not wear his old outfit and every other character has an alteration of their old uniform. Aside from that I love to see them all coming back.

Rain doesn´t wear his ninja outfit. I don´t think Jarek has his old attire from MK4 either. But the game isn´t finished yet so maybe the charachters will even have 3 outfits??

that would be insane having three costumes
eg. scorpion
1 uniform in Deception
2 costume in mk4
3 costume in original mk

I said "alteration."
Rain's Alternate looks similar to a 3-D modernized ninja outfit
and Jarek's is pretty different, but it's the same set of colors and with add ins.

...it's not Jarek's costume...it's his hair...what's with the damn spiral anyway? It looks like he's trying to drill through the air...his look doesn't fit his MKIV one at all...
