I was recently playing deception online and there was a debate to how many fighting styles each characters possess. I know the game does support online play, but does anyone know how many styles each character will get, including weapons?

...two...one regular style...and one fighting style...though there may be a few exceptions (as in several fighters may have two regular styles and no weapon)...

Indeed, they're limiting it to 2 styles per character. Some will have the following:
-One fighting style, one weapon
-Two fighting styles
-Two weapons
Which characters will have which combination, we don't know...And we won't know until October 9th of this year.

Like quan chi or nintara, but i think they migth be talking like they can have anotehr compelty diffrent weopen, Hum thats a good question  YEAH how could they.

No, not like two weapons in each hand like broadswords or kama. they ment like one style being a sword and the other style an axe for example.

...I couldn't see that...though it does sound awesome...it was never brought up...only the two regular fighting styles...

Well, they might have a short-range weapon like a Nunchaku and a long-range weapon like a Sword or Spear for example.
But we will know October 9th like Amphibious said.
