anyone? haven't unlocked all of them yet but mainly want to get Liu Kang..have about 5 characters to unlock

Every time I try to find Liu Kang, he's not there.
Is he supposed to be in a box behind that tent sort of thing in Edenia? That's what all the websites say, but the box never arrive.

Behind the tent in Edenia (on the right side of it) at 12:01am on a FRIDAY
You have to be quick, the chest only stays there a few minutes, so stop meditating at like, 11:30pm thursday and wait for the day to change.

Ohhh, right. Thanks for that!  But something's wrong with my Deception and none of the alternate costumes and arenas and characters are coming up. So I doubt Liu Kang would be there even at that time.
