Im thinking of buying a headset for deception, but will it be compatible with Armageddon? if it is then it migt be worth buying, however if its just for deception I might pass cause deception will never be played once MKA comes out. is this a good investment?

I'd imaging the headset will work with Armageddon since one of the major focuses of this game is it's online play. I can't say with 100% certainty that it'll work, unless I knew it worked for Deception as well (which I don't since I never played online with MKD). The headset is a worth while investment though for multiple games, especially Halo 2 online.

well im talking about ps2, so unfortunately no halo... my xbox burtn out a while ago  ... but ps2 is nicer for MK anyway

Why is PS2 better for MK? I don´t have an XBOX so I cannot compare.

its just a more fluid game, xbox focused too much on graphics and not on gameplay... plus the controller owns xbox, even tho thats irrelevant

...well...definitely buy a headset...it is a guaranteed bad-ass-o-factor for any console...though I have to say...from Xbox to PS2 on Deception...I definitely prefer Xbox...on many games at that...loading and graphics are regularly better and PS2's gameplay isn't showing me a difference worth a rat's night in Vegas...
...I'd have to suggest playing both more often to help yourself compare...if the PlayStation ever finishes loading the match that someone already won on the Xbox...with a tie-breaker...and a fatality...

I see. If the controller has a better appearance that is always a plus.
On the other hand shorter loading times are always good too.

X-Box is a newer console and simply put, as superior capabilities. Mortal Kombat has the same, if not better, gameplay on the X-Box than the PS2, because it runs at the same speed, same (if not faster on the X-Box) loading times, etc. The difference is, the X-Box has a far superior graphics output. With regards to the controller, X-Box has a far more ergonomic controller with easier button access. I've played both systems and hands down, the Box is better for MK games.

It´s all about taste I guess. I haven´t played it on Xbox and I doubt I ever will. I stick to PS2 for now at least.

well I just baught a headset... now I can taunt all those newbies I own in deception and armageddon when it comes out... hopefully my banter will be as good as my fighting.

...hmm...never played it on the >box< *shakes head* you poor soul...
...glad that headset was worth it Gag-onStyle...it's definitely a necesity for team shooting games...but it's so fun to joke around and make friends with the guy you fight on MK...taunting and regretting...laughing and swearing...'tis no doubtedly worth the money...
