...timezones only have a radius of 12 hours...how the hell could you get 12 days (oddly specific number) out of 20? Honestly, that's an awful excuse. Time zones only affect you by at most 23 hours. Not days, not weeks, and certainly not months.
Instead of trying to act all big and bag, and get defensive, just shut up and follow the rules. Then, and only then, will people stop jumping all over you.
