Does anyone here like Soul Calibur?
I do. It's a fun game, but kind of
frustrating. It doesn't take much
talent since you can win by button
mashing. Aside from that, it's an
excellent game.

i didn't like Soul Calibur because as was popinted out you can win by just mashing buttons and being cheap...

Back to life..after 3 years 
Anyone has that intro movie from Soul Calibur (Dreamcast) ? Ity's superb!!
I hope i don't wait another 3 years for someone to answer.. 
Anyway it's a game that is now among the great..and the chicks from SC are reaaaly nice .

Heck SC2 is the only game I like playing, SC3 is so hard specially the counter attacks and stuff. >_<

I love soul calibur because I can beat any button masher. ^_^ Once you know the games engine better it gets easier to beat with them. And since you mentioned SC3 has counters then I guess they borrowed from DOA. Which makes me even happier since I'm good at those as well. ^_^ Any decent SC / DOA player can beat a button smasher everytime. Hehe.

I loved SC2. And I own SC3. THEY CHANGED SO MUCH IN IT. Let me tell you this. Ivy fans who have yet to play it..... SUCKS TO BE YOU! they changed around her whole combo system! Granted, some moves are the same, but they are so weak now. Also Sueng Mina fans (like me) they have also changed her moves around too! Anyways, I love the series. Sueng Mina and Cervantase are fucking awsome. But i would love to see which characters are better. Quan Chi's Duel Broadswords, or Cervantase's dual sword combo (I vote Cervantase), or he is the better at using staffs, Sindel and Jade, our Sueng Mina and Kilik (I think its a tie) or even better. Who would win Between Scorpion and Nightmare!? (I vote Nightmare!)
