Back in the days without internet it was quite hard to learn all the fatalities. The only one I figured out myself was Mileena´s man eater (hold HK for 3 seconds). I also performed her Babality (though I didn´t know how exactly). Later, my school friend gave me a list of MK1 and MK2 fatalities (off course not complete list- not all fatality codes were well known). MK3 fatalities were published in one CZ gaming magazine. I loved the days, when fatalities were something VERY special and Friendships and Babalities were big secret _________________ DEVELOPER DIARIES

I really stink at doing Fatalities. The only ones I've done are on Shaolin Monks, and the one button fatalities on Trilogy....

I learned them myself by experimentation. THe first fatality I ever did was way back in MK3 on SNES using Sub-Zero against Kabal. I was like 6-7 years old then, can't remember, anyways point is I hit random buttons and BAM I did the Frozen Military Press. Awsome moment. _________________

...they were very difficult for MK...I remember I could do everyone's finisher in War Gods (64) by decoding them with the controller...sounds like a difficult process but I was a gaming god back then...MKI to MKIII took a while to figure out...but I got most of them... _________________ "...don't think it's yours just 'cause you marked it with your urine."

I first started playing MK when I was 7, so I wasn't exactly internet-savvy so I mostly learned them from word of mouth.... Wow, that was 10 years ago... _________________

Sad thing is i never knew how to do fatalities on the genesis the times i rented umk3 or played mk1 mk2.
Since i didn't have the internet or a cpu back then so i lived without not knowing how to do them till i got a gamegear which it's obvious with 2 buttons you can atleast do one fatality that be easy enough and that's where in mk2 i did scorpions skull flame fatality since it was the first time seeing it i thought it was one wicked fatality.
Then now a days since i got the internet i can do the fatalities for umk3 and stuff and it's cool knowing i can do them now. _________________

My first fatality was on mk2 which was kung lao's chop in half ( Kung lao's first fatality on shaolin monks.) But Total-Mk helped me with the Jakks Tv mk so that was easier. But apart from the 1 button fatalites I think shaolin monks was the easiest one to peform a _________________ BRUTALITY !

I remember my days of playing MK1 on the MegaDrive. I think the first fatality I ever saw was Sub-Zero's head-and-spine rip fatality. Come to think of it, I think that was the first one I, myself, actually did. _________________ "We don't choose to be what we are. Can you say "SHORYUKEN!"??
At least that was the impression I got when I was first imformed on how to perform Z-man's* MK1 fatality.
* Just for the record, Z-man is a nickname I sometimes use for Sub-Zero. _________________ "We don't choose to be what we are. Only who we are, what we do, and how much pie we can scoff down until we're well 'n' truely bloated."

I remember watching someone do scorpion and sub-zero's fatality from Mortal Kombat 1 at some diner when I was a freshman (highschool).
The fatalities made me say "whoa thats heavy sh-t" at the time.
So when I got my chance, I tried re-doing what the player did and only managed to pull off sub-zero's fatality. I didnt know I had to stand at a specific distance for scorpion. I used to drop either a step too far, or too close.
Man, that was confusing.
I loved Scorpion's MK2 fatality. That was the best burn fatality in my opinion. "AAAAAAAGGHHHH!!! BOOM!!!"charred bones and meat everywhere. Excellent _________________ MORTAL KOMBAT!!!

Don't forget the "Toasty!" part. That was pretty cool as well.
Come to think of it, I felt kinda gutted that "Toasty!" was nowhere to be heard in MKA. *sigh* Oh well. Can't have everything, I guess. _________________ "We don't choose to be what we are. Only who we are, what we do, and how much pie we can scoff down until we're well 'n' truely bloated."
