All characters in MK world slightly change with each new installment. And it´s obvious that characters not seen for so long time will change much more than the characters who were playable in the previous installment

I think it works.....especially when Boon and the gang seem to be hard at work at making all the old ninjas as "unique" as possible while still somehow retaining a bit of their old ninja designs......Rain's is the most different of all next to Reptiles last few appearances, but considering his backstory, it'd be inappropriate to NOT go in such a direction.

i thin we are all agreed apon the fact that since they all wanted to make the old ninja fighters "unique"...
that since his story line goes along with it they thought they would give rain this arabian type look ......
