Mortal Kombat 1, Trilogy, and 4 are my fav classics.
MK1: love this game. I even went through the trouble of getting my Genesis replaced so I could play it again.
MKT: Who can't love the fact every MK character up to that time was playable in it? Not to meantion most of the stages from the previous three games too.
MK4: the first MK I ever played, and Is probably my most played one of the classics. _________________ Top 5 fav characters

2. Kai
3. Reptile
4. Sektor
5. Scorpion

I've clocked up more hours on MKII then is healthy for the human brain. Played that game to death. Started playing it when it was first released, and I still play the hell outta it these days. _________________ Brutal honesty will be shown on this screen!

MK2 For me by far. MK1 will always be special to me cause I was hooked the first time i played it at the convienience store that had it. Still though, when MK2 came out i remember seeing baraka for the first time and it was magical. I remember we had a move list from someone at MIDWAY before the game came out and reading it in school instead of doing work. I remember more mk2 moves than math. Sad, i know but what can you do.
I dont play the 3d ones as much cause the combat changed alot for me. I like them but I prefer the 2d ones by far. UMK3 is good too, I like the combos and challenge.

MK 1,2 and 3 on my SNES i know like the back of my hand and still play them a fair bit. UMK3 didnt come out in Australia till MK4 did on psx at about the same time. So went went with MK4 first and was not happy as most the classic fighter were gone ,so i went out and got UMK3 in 98. Then i had to get MKT as it almost had every fighter from the good ones sharper GFX and sound ect ect. Mates get right into them classics when they come around for beers ,start going on about they old days playing MK so it turns into big comp's _________________ Frozen Smoke!

We used to do the same thing and i first played a MK1 too at my uncles house they gave me and my brother a go fighting each other. My uncle said to me go Sub Zero and hes mate told my brother to go Scorpion and that was it. We were hooked and ended up getting a SNES and MK1 for xmas ,we used to write all the moves down and that. Even started getting into fights with each other becouse one of use would just keep doing the same move over. Then MK2 came that was awsome but MK3 was big for me ,i bought this Nintedo mag with all the cheats moves combo's everthing. Same as you i knew the game before it even was in Australia amd when it came well i was always sick and couldnt make it to school .Robo Smoke and Unmasked sub with the ice clone and shower i was unstopable _________________ Frozen Smoke!

MK3 I love that game the backgrounds, characters (yes I don't mind Stryker there are worse characters), the story...that game still makes me smile thinking about it.
Most family played game is MK4 released before MKDA on Sold Out both Sisters, my Dad and loads of friends played that continously. Best £5 I ever spent. _________________ His approach will be as silent as new fallen snow...his attack as fierce as winter's blizzard...his devastation as brutal as winter's relentless chill...he is complete (Lin Kuei Grandmaster)

Hahah Mk3 was the worst for that as the bots will let you win one fight then give you hell to win the next. What i do with that game is put the settings on hard then they will attack more rather then block. On normal they just stand and wait for you to make a move then they block or just counter every time. I just play the game their way wait for them to make a move and counter it. But yeah my Mk3 on snes is very well used ,i love that game _________________ Frozen Smoke!

for me mk 2 was the best and most enjoyable. mk 1 i played the first day it was out on arcade and the acrade play would hold tourments and who ever won got $25 dollors in quarters. on the snes i would stay up with my cousin and play it all night. mk2 (fav) would again play tourments on acrade which i won 1 or 2. i could do everybodies fat and moves. again got it on the snes and gen. mk3 i would have trouble with it because i would always forget they have a run button and i mess up with the combos at times. umk and mkt i never took serous because i though of them more as bonous games. mk4 i went back to my roots and had a tourments which i was desent at. but mk has been good to me, and i still play it alot. mk 2 i play with only shang tsung i was deading to play as him every since mk1. mk1 raiden i remeber his fav was so hard to pull off. mk3 shang tsung and sindel. mk4 quan chin love his story
