Okay. I'm calm now. I did like some of Raiden's moves in MK 2-4, but the cleap shot staff wasn't cool in MKDA. I couldn't play with friends because they'd always use Raiden. He was cool in MKD though. |
There are two spellings. Rayden is how it was originally spelled.

I know what you mean when ever my brother would play as Raider in DA he just hit me over the head again and again, which is annoying enough but he also chimed in with the phrase "The world need retards" or "I'm making you retarded" so that was nice.

Rayden is the name of the Thunder God according to realistic mythology (according to some Japanese clans I think)...Raiden is the name MK Rayden used to disguise himself among the mortals in the tournament...
Raiden is pronounced rIe-den though everyone pronounces it as rAy-den which is spelled Rayden (the correct way)...so technically...you're one of the many that spell it wrong...
...I know it's hard to believe since every site and game has spelled it as Raiden though if the games don't change it then the sites won't change it and I'm still not sure why they haven't changed it...I guess it would be confusing for consumers to see the beloved character's name spelled differently than all the others before...

As for Raiden, Noob Saibot's teliport kicks Raiden's teliport's butt and Noob has "Cyborg Smoke" to double the trouble with.

...alright now...here we go...they could make Rayden's teleport far better though it has been the same since the first MK...it's to keep the classic value...to the MK Krew it could be considered sentimental like Scorpion's Toasty okay...Noob got it later...so they didn't care...they just gave him the more advanced one with no emotion...
...technically that's a compliment to Rayden...the true bad-ass...

I agree. Raiden is a bad-ass in my opinion. That's why my KAK story is a guy who has a vendeta against Raiden. To keep it short, Raiden saw potential in my character (A sedan warrior by the name of Aldair) and wanted to mold him into an Earthrealm champion. By Raiden's rules, a warrior has three reasons to fight: Honor, Respect and Vengence. Aldair had the first two, so Raiden made a deal with Shang Tsung. Shang Tsung would kill Aldair's family, and receive the souls of Aldair's Earthrealm ancestors. After killing the sister and parents of Aldair, Shang Tsung only blinded Aldair's brother, Kenshi. The souls were still his. Aldair hunted Shang Tsung down, and found him with Quan Chi in Outworld (before they killed Kahn's clone). After failing to defeat the DA, Shang Tsung told Aldair what Raiden did. He also fould the fact that Raiden's plan work and amused him and spaired Aldair's life. Later, after the blast in Shang Tsung's palace, Aldair found Quan Chi and brung him to health. Now the Sedan warrior is Quan Chi's to mold and use to finally kill the thunder god, and protect himself with against Scorpion.
I haven't made an ending for Aldair yet. Any comments are appreciated.

...excellent story...it truly is...it completely embodies the deceit Mortal Kombat konducts...I would appreciate it if you made a fan fiction with that whole story (save the ending so it isn't ruined)...or use the creativity for a character in Vain's RP Zone...
...but seriously...does Rayden really need more people that want to kill him?

I don´t think Raiden can be killed. Not easily anyway. Maybe his mortal form can be defeated but he has been around for millenia and has extreme knowledge of martial arts.
