Welcome. And its a forum... you just talk to others about various topics. Also, there is the site itself, which is host to loads of MK related content for you to enjoy.

Firstly, I would like to welcome you to TMK.
This is a basic forum. There are plenty of thing to do around here so yak your head off. Because this is a Mortal Kombat site, there is quite a variety in qhich to discuss the game, but that does not limit the topics. There are plenty of oter "rooms" to discuss other things as well:
This forum for general, whatever, topics.
Sage Plains (for those who have acquired a Sage rank here a TMK.)
Fan art (whch expands your interractivity with the site as well as stimulates your creative side.)
As well as forums that were purchased by members her a TMK so that they can offere whatever it is that they wish.
Secondly, I would advise you to look over the rules so you don't get banned in a couple of days like we've been geting a lot of lately. (I'm not saying you did anything wrong, It's just a heads up.)
Third...um...ly? You have come at a very special time. TMK has just updated the site full of konent after gettin our 20,000th member validation.
Fourthly-ish - This site can keep you busy for a while and so I insist you check out other parts aside from just the forums. There's plenty for you to do, buy, or enjoy here.
So again, I welcome you and make sure to enjoy yorself, rake in the koins, make plenty of awesome threads, and most importantly, follow the rules (boy I hate to watch people go.)
