Just watched it now from the youtube link and i got to say that is defitnely the best intro i've seen in any video game ever i mean a 4 minute intro is the longest i've ever seen a game have and it doesn't disapoint. This game will defitnely go down in the books of being the best mk game ever.

I had not assumed it could surpass MK:D and MK:DA intro... but in fact it did. Probably the best intro ever (though probably not fully cannon because of so many deaths, but we´ll find out in the game itself) not only in MK series.
PS: I could be wrong, but Li Mei was the first to die (killed by Hotaru). Now I´m totally sure they will wipe out all my favorites

this video is the shit! li mei dying as soon as the fight started had me rollin on the ground laughing, wasnt even expecting that to happen. plus stryker socking mileena on his way to the pyramid, shao kahn going homerun king with his hammer, and if u listen carefully u will hear cyrax say "screw you" when sheeva tosses him off her back. this video was classic.

I didnt even see Fujin or Sonya but Jax getting smashed over the head with a hammer was funny. Li Mei deserved getting stabbed in the stomach.  I think im gonna explode must have geddon.

...hmm...looks like Sub-Zero would beat Scorpion after all...haha...
...no disappointments...so much death...so much kick-ass-osity...and Sheeva dominated for a while...as well as Tsung...but Kahn getting taken away by Onaga was by far the best part...not to mention they brought back all of the original rivalries besides Cage and Goro...I guess Kang's official weapons are shackles now...
...crap I'm pumped like a shotgun...

Bah, I'm not too interested in it. I really enjoyed MKD's intro, that was f'in great. But this one sort of bummed me out, didn't seem like an intro, more like a teaser. Like the video you recieved ages ago for MK:SM, wasn't the full intro, but had a good chunk of it in it. I'm hoping this is something identical.

...that's strange...I was entirely satisfied...though to be ultimately fulfilled the only thing I'd really need is a little action from Blaze...he turns his head and you know some ass-kickin' is about to begin but all we get to see is the release date...hopefully the released intro. will include a little inferno...

Off course- this wasn´t classic intro (like the one in D and DA). This movie was not cannon (Cinder said that characters who died in the intro won´t necesarilly die in the game itself). We should take it as a demonstration, or maybe Taven´s foreboding.
The only thing I didn´t like about the movie was the fact it´s almost identical to Warcraft 3 intro:
W3: raven feeding on grass
MK: buzzard feeding on Masked guard
W3: two armies face each other (Orcs vs. Humans)
MK: -"- (Good vs. Evil)
W3: Either orc or human general´s (I dont´t remember which one exactly) warcry before the army arrives
MK: Kintaro´s warcry prior to Evil army´s arrival
W3: During the battle between two armies, much greater power emerges from nowhere to fight everybody (Demons)
MK: -"- (Blaze)
I just have the ´deja vu´ feeling again.
But I still think this would be a great intro movie (though I prefered the story based intros from previous MKs)

OH MY GOD, that was just incredible, cant wait to play so i can see what happend after that. and did they say that the elder gods put that in their as a safe gaurd, for when the become to powerful and so that they can kill themselves off.

Wow, that was awesome. Even my buddy Kano got to be nasty for a short while there by blasting Stryker in the chest with his Eye Laser and then throwing his trusty knife in the back of Bo Rai Cho.
Did Kenshi cleave Sheeva in two btw?

I know fujin is in there someware near the start, and Sonya can be seen during the Kenshi / Quan Chi fight, look in the background and you will see Cage bump her off the pyramint....hehehe.
