You know, I find it very funny that (just about) everyone here is praising the video and giving it the credit that is deserved, while on MKO, they are tearing it a part and talking about what a peice of garbage it is.
To be honest, the only reason I logged on today, was to see if you guys were being asshole about the intro because I wanted to make a rant about how fucking awesome it was.
As most of you know, I was otiosely banned from MKO and it was making me so mad that I couldn't yell at them. I thought I would come here and see the same and be able to set people straight.
I'm proud of all of you for actually being grateful.

I love every bit of the video, and it was funny as hell when Striker just sucker punched Mileena in the face after the pyramid poped out of the ground, that was my favorite part.

havent been one in a while but when i saw that intro i knew i had to see evryones reactions i thought it was cool except how onaga like kidnapped shao kahn lol i also liked the fight between sub-zero and scorpion.

...I give credit at all times...exactly how much it deserves...this video was awesome...
...as much as I like Shao Kahn...this video really picked up my Onaga-kicks-ass-ometer...that was definitely my favorite part...

Was Goro in it btw? I don´t think I saw him. A great ending nevertheless.
And bloodyshadow, why were you banned from MKO? And why are they complaining on the intro on MKO. Are they blind or something.

1. No, there was no Goro, sorry. Not even in the background.
2. There was some kid online that kept leaving me posts that demanded I got dragon points (those of you on MKO, know what the means) They must have thought that it was me trying to give myself accolades, and so I got banned. Never did meet up with the asshole again. Although, is username was funny.... Sub_Xerox machine. That made me laugh... until I was improperly banned. When I wrote a letter to MKO, like every time you send an e-mail to the owner of a website, they didn't respond. To this day I still want an explaination.
3. No idea. They claimed that because characters died it was uncannon and that makes it a bad video. Check some of the threads regarding it, just about every person tears into the game and how much it sucks.

I see. Strange that Goro wasn´t in the intro? Maybe he had to do laundry that day.
It´s better that you are here where the members have a brain to use. Besides this site is so much better anyway.

I could be wrong, but I swear I saw Goro in the background extremly briefly, I should double-check hehe. I loved the intro, the only thing that pissed me off was when IGN released it, they squashed the widescreen format of it into a 4x3 window, causing the video to be "crushed" it really pissed me off, and then the youtube version was just as bad, if not worse...The quality on it was shocking, lucky Midway came to our aid by sending me and other webmaster a link to the proper, high quality widescreen version...then later they posted it on the midway forums. For those of you who didn't see it, the link is on the TMK main page.
But I have always loved this intro, the only thing was...I thought Scorpion should of made it onto the pyramint, I mean...he is almost an Elder God in my eyes.
That was my ONLY beef with it.

I saw it yesterday, and oh, my God.
It was so awesome! I loved it.
It was so cool how every character (well, almost every character) was involved in this all-out brawl!
And of course, it was hilarious, like when Mileena got punched in the face.
This is by far the best intro in videogame history. 11/10!

...true...it wasn't just awesome...it was probably better than any intro. I've ever witnessed...even Conker's Bad Fur Day...and that was just uncomprehendably awesome...this one's actually unstoppably, immensely, insanely, uncontrollably, booty-smackingly awesome! It actually includes the story and the fun action without caring whether it's canon or not...most get boring to those who don't care for the story...this fits all...
