Hello,
This is my first post and I think a very touph one...
I obtained a DVD with ALL Amiga games, including Mortal Kombat 1. This DVD is also an emulator, which is started by starting up a linux workbench and load the game.
I want to have ALL the MK1 sounds, music, whatever on wav format or mp3 format but I don't know how to do it.
I tried running CoolEdit Pro recording on the background, then start the game and play the sounds. But after I got back in Windows, cooledit only recorded 58 seconds, with nothing but skipped musicfragments.
Probably due to high CPU load (100%).
My question is: how can I record those songs or how can I obtain the nostalgic Amiga sounds of MK1?
I hope someone can give me a hint, because I am desperate!

It's allright guys....I already sorted it out.
To record the sounds from the MK1 amiga emulator DVD, you just need a fast CPU, like a HT or dualcore CPU.
Just run it from DVD, let cooledit record on background and play the sounds ingame.
It just did not work on my laptop. CPU too slow. I recommend copying the whole DVD on your harddisk and then run it.
I now recorded all the MK sounds and made 192kbit mp3's of it.
