I think Quan Chi might have killed him.
But then again, Shang Tsung could have summoned revenge for his defeat at the hands of Lui Kang!
I don't think it could be Moloch. This might sound stupid, but Goro could have killed Lui Kang.
Because in the MK4 storyline, it said Goro wanted to destroy Lui.

Shang Tsung orders Moloch to do it and Tsung throws in some punches while Moloch tears him apart and while Liu is being killed Tsung talks about how Liu sucks and how awesome Tsung is and stuff, just to torture Liu further.

There's two possibilities;Either Moloch smashed Kang's head,or all mk characters got sick of Liu Kang and gang-beated his ass.

My little 7 year old brother doesn't like Lui Kang.
I said that he would get killed at the begining of the game.
He replied by saying "good!"
I asked "Why?"
Then he stated that Lui Kang was too much of a little girl.

No one. He's alive and well. I just read that he is a secrect character. You can see him in the background of the new pit stage (statues holding up the canvas).
It's in the new EGM.
