I should be playing MK:Armageddon....but I ain't want to know why?
For the last 6 years I have imported all my MK games from ebgames.com
MKDA Gamecube,MK Deception KE Scorpion X-Box,MKSM X-Box and this time tried to get Armageddon.
For some stupid reason, ebgames.com was rejecting the credit card that I have been using for the last 6 years to get these games. So I tried a differant CC, same shit. I ring EB, I was told by the "customer service" (if you want to call it that) to order the game of Amazon.com "Hell No!" I snarled back at the person, explaining that I want the pre-order bonus...as always. So he punched a few things into the computer, and told me to order the game on www.bn.com (Barnes And Noble) and explained it came with the bonus, I didn't really want to, but saw no choice. So I did it, and then they blocked my order telling me to contact them regarding CC issues agian, I rang them... and they said, "ok we just needed to check that you were the one that used the credit card" (what kind of shit tis that?) Anyway I let it go... Then the day came, Armageddon came out Tues. I checked my BN order, it sat on "not-yet-shipped" I thought...I guess there stock is a bit late...waited an extra day then go this lovely e-mail:
"This email is to inform you that one or more products listed below from your order ---------- has been delayed from shipping. At this time, we do not have a ship date, but your backordered product(s) should be available again within the next 30 days."
I am so fucking pissed off...I can't belive the amount of bulshit this company has put me through to get the game, I only ordered it from the site to get the bonus, Midway are sending me a free copy (for my hard work and e3 coverage)... in a week or so, but god damn...you think Gamestop who is incharge of this order could fucking get it right...I am going to ring them tonight and all fucking hell is going to break loose...if you work for the BN customer service center I suggest calling in sick!
The thing that really pisses me off about this is, the customer service for eb / gamestop didn't try to fix the original problem on the site, they just jerked me around telling me to use other websites...the situation is UNACCEPTABLE.

Oh gawd TMK. I feel your pain, happened to me on the Resident Evil 4 launch (probably the only game I ever felt the need to pre-order, and as a result my order was delayed due to torrential rains wherever it was shipping from.) However, your problem seems to be due to incompetence of the people selling it to you.
I pre-ordered mine on eBay funnily enough and I've already got it. Enjoying it HEAPS (paid quite a bit for postage) and I might even buy the PAL Xbox Release when that comes out too (given that it's 360 compatible).
TMK, are you doing a giveaway like you did for Deception?

Glad you got it.
Just so you know, there is no PAL XBOX version coming out at all. (See latest TMK news, MKA ads show only PS2 cover this confirms this) I will be doing Armageddon competitions for America and Australia this time

...exactly why I'm happy I live in the U.S. now...if they would've done that to me I would've reacted the same way "PISSED OFF MK FAN"...
...hope you get it soon...it must be awesome having ties with Midway and such...you think you could stretch your ties and get us some new renders?  Just playin'...can't wait to see your reaction after playing Konquest!

I tried to get renders all year, I was told there isn't any. I belive it, unless there is a few they are keeping for use later....ie wallpapers.
The best I got was that updated high-res cast render which was pretty sweet.

That sounds like what happened to me Total MK. I pre-ordered from gogamer.com. I got plaenty of stuff from them. Anyway, tues night I get an email saying the product isn't avaliable and it has been cancelled! not delayed or backordered, but cancelled. So they said they'd credit me the purchase. I'm going to the mall tomm. I hope one of the 4 game stores around there will have it.
