what is your favourite updated ninja look. for me its smokes (not robot one) i could whoop some serious ass with him and his costume is really cool with the smoke inside him plus he has on of my favourie grabs where he smashes the oppents face against his knee

Rain has the best new ninja look. All the new on him makes him the best looking character in the game.

I might be one of the few but I like Reptile's new look.I couldn't stand seeing him as a human when his fatalities showed him as a lizard under a mask.The MK4 look was cool but they went overboard when they made him a complete lizard in MKDA.All I could say was wtf.Now he has the perfect balance of lizard and human attributes and I think he looks better than all the ninjas in armageddon.

...Rain by far...though Chameleon looks pretty bad-ass with the whole changing colors with his moves thing...Rain's look is definitely the most original...

I must admit I like Rains new look, but Im not overly keen on Sub-zeros... im a big fan of him and I honestly prefer his classic look.

Gunna have to agree with |{rave, Rain has the best new look and overall (in my opinion) best Ninja costume (particularly his alternative outfit). It's the most original and best looking. Plus, he's purple!  What's better than a purple ninja?

Well, Scorpion53's joining the crowd, Rain's look is the best I've seen. It's been a while since Rain actually had a new costume. I believe it's been since UMK 3 as far as I remember. Rain really needed the change of outfit. It also surprised me when they said he was an Edenian prince in the Konquest mode.

I love the whole frozen arms with Sub Zero, for some reason Scorpion looks too sleek like they streamlined him or something, I wish reptile had a human coat on like the alternate in MKSM, the others look ok but I cant pick a winner out of the bunch, Smoke has changed too much is it me or does he look like a lumberjack? I like Chameleon nice touch when you do someone else's move, If I had to pick it would be sub zero for going back to basic Lin Kuei style and adding frozen arms but thats all thats going for him.

Defitnely Rain's his is just perfect in all ways i mean last time you could see him was in 2d form in genesis arcade etc and was a pallete swap but finally you get to see him look different then the other characters and his is really the best.

Hmm. I love Rain so I'll say Rain. It was his first "new look" and it looks absolutely awesome, particularly his alternative costume. Hmm. Who else? I also like Ermacs new look, believe it or not. Hate Sub Zero's new look.
As for the female ninjas, Mileena is my favourite and as a result her "new look" is even more favourable over Jade and Kitana's. Kitanas hasn't changed and Jade's is a bit bland. Either way, Mileenas new look is awesome.
I love how Midway decided to give all the characters new looks. They really needed to be more distinguishable and with these new looks they've done it.

I am going to agree with mktdog88 reptile look the best. I also think chameleon looks cool especially the way he changes colours like kombat krave. But he and some other ninjas have lack of moves.

I don't necessarily think they streamlined Scorpion. However, I will say they did cut a corner with him. All they did with this game is switch is Alternate and primary costumes.

I am a huge fan of reptile's newest look. It has that great mesh between Pure beast and human ninja. Also,I like the head wraps on him. Reminds me of a mummy and mummies kick ass.
