Post subject: get the Endings? |

One thing I havn't been able to figure out was the endings. are they supposed to say what happnes to each character regardless of who wins the tornoment, or what happnes to the character IF he/she won the tornoment.

They say what happen if the indivigual you beat the game as had killed Blaze and obtained his power.

This game is supposed to "tie all the loose ends", right. So, if the loose ends (character endings) are based on hypothatical situation (if a certain character beats the tornoment), how are we supposed to figure out what happnes to each character...

I think Blaze's ending is the real one. That one would make the most sense do to the name of the game, and all the talk going on about ending all current plots.

This game isn't nesicarrily ment to tie up all loose ends, as it is a final good bye to all these characters.

What I want to know, is who comes up with the story of Mortal Kombat if some of the endings actually contradict each other. for example: Mileena's ending is that she takes over Kitanas life and puts her in prison until she goes mad. Kitanas ending is that she forms an all femal group and ....
What I'm saying, is that it's really hard to follow the sotry of mortal kombat while some of the endings are really confusing...

They come up with thse stories that condrict mostly for the fans of the characters, and because they never know which direction they'll take till later on down the road.

But I have to say if that's the case, then they could have come up with a better way of telling the story

Why? it seems to work out great, and has been since the begining. By giving every character their own special ending, this gives people something they could possibly look foward to for the next game. Weither it condricicts with another ending or not doesn't matter, because its rare that every ending even has effect on the next game.

...who said that? We just assumed it would...there were no promises...we all very well know these endings are screwed up...not everyone defeated Blaze...

...Blaze's is more of a nuetral ending as it does not precisely direct toward the 'general' frame of MK...Taven's is the most logical choice...the third effect being that only certain warriors were not slain...the majority were...

...John Vogel...and he as well was upset with the split ends they had to leave considering they couldn't tie all the information due to cutting biographies...

Okay, the endings are cool. But, just like every movie, one anticipates a change/move in the plot whenever he/she purchases a game. So, what has the MKA -which I think is a great mk game and- introduced to the Mortal Kombat story. (What do we know so far??)
