Post subject: Why o why do i have to be in the UK |

I hate it i hate it i hate it, OCTOBER 27TH ive gotta wait till to get my hands on mk armageddon. Please tell me its a good as i think it will be. How many characters can you create, as many as you like ? Gotta make the hulk lol. Also when you start the game can you play with all characters straight away or must you unlock them

...you start off with all but four characters that you have to unlock via Konquest...
...you can kreate one kharacter per profile...and you can make as many profiles as your memory card will hold...
...it's worth the wait...

Even though I do not have the game like you. There are no worries about Kintaro being unlocked, he is available from the start. The 4 characters you do unlock however are Taven (Konquest's protagonist), Daegon (Taven's evil brother), Meat (Bloody skeleton) and Blaze (The big boss of the game).

Aww, but I want to earn them! 
I'm stuck in the UK, too.
Am waiting for that phone call from GAME on Friday telling me they have my copy of 'Geddon waiting for me. 
I cannot wait!
But my mum's not going to be happy when she finds out I've blown half my present money and 3 of my PS2 games for it.
Showed her the intro video off YouTube for about 20 seconds, though.
At first, all she saw was: 'MATURE. EXTREME VIOLENCE AND GORE.'
Haha.
I don't know how I'm going to buy the game, though. I'm 4 years below the age limit.
OH, CRAP.
This means I won't get 'Geddon till Saturday!  My sister will be at university on Friday, and by the time she gets home, GAME will have closed!

it sucks dont it, but still we will be much more gratefull when we get it. i would rather have to unlock all the charecters aswell but still i supose its ghood aswell

That's true.
I'll be even more grateful, seeing as at first my mum wouldn't even let me get it!
But I have to wait till Saturday for it!
My sister will have to buy it for me.
I can't wait for Armageddon. It is going to own.
And I'm quite happy about the Motor Kombat as well! 
Does anyone know if Jade, Mileena and Kitana will have their cool ninja outfits in this as alternates, like Jade's alt in Deception?

Finally! Yesterday at work I got Armageddon at last! I was so excited that I was counting down the hours to go home and I put it in my PS2 and it is awesome, definitely a worthy successor to the equally awesome Deception.

we had a small problem with the uk thing too, seeing as though the ps2 was the only consol we didn't own and since it wasnt released over here on anything but... my boyfriend went out and bought a ps2 specially for the release of armagedon.... and it got all fucked up at first and wouldnt play the game

I heard so much criticism before i got my own copy, i was starting to get a little worried, quite frankly i dont know why everyone was getting so against it... its a great game with the largest selection of characters ive seen in a long time. shame as always the uk had to wait this long to get it

We're not against the game, we just pointed out a few things that we were disappointed with, or felt the MK Team could have done better. The fighting itself is pretty good, along with the edition of aerial kombat and a Kreate a Fatality system. For example, some of us saw that there was no storyline to the game because it makes more questions for us. We don't know whether Onaga succeeded in conquering all of the realms and there are parts that say he did and parts that say otherwise. Play the Konquest mode to find out what I mean. Another good example is the KAF mode. There was not enough stuff for each character created, (i.e. combos, special moves, etc.) and finally in Motor Kombat, there were not enough characters. Don't get me wrong here, zoridian, the game itself is awesome, but there were a few flaws we found in it.

Yeah it's the same for me
Over view - fan fucking tastic
the only big disapointment to me is the lack of tracks for the Motor Kombat & like Scorpion53 said this is supposed to clear up the storylines and it doesn't.

I also have to agree with you on that part on the Motor Kombat tracks. There were not enough. That's another thing I forgot to add there. Thanks, LinKuei Master. You'd think that would have added in something like Hell, or the Outworld Ruins, you know, something a little more complicated because the majority of the tracks were really easy. I've gotten first place in the majority of them and not had a hard time trying to win the races. What a joke there!
