Well, Orin died, but Caro probably didn't. Quan-Chi attacked Orin at point blank range and he still had enough energy to hold the sorcorer's portal open and give you information.
Caro was weak from opening and closing constant portals, but other then being tired, he could rather easly destroy a small gang inside of charred mountain, reguardless of their small arms fire.

...there is a Orin koncept on the official Geddon site's secret page...Caru has no render, koncepts, or screenshots...so you may have to wait for that one...

Caro is dead. It even said that Caro was killed, if not by Daegon, then by his Red Dragon Clan. If Caro didn't die, give me an explanation worthy of being believed.

I played through Konquest three times and nothing EVER said Caro died. He was week and attacked the red dragon, but that was all we know, they left it open.

That's true, Daneasaur. They also said that it would be pretty hard for the Red Dragon to defeat Caro, even in his weakened condition. However, I am not saying that people who say that Caro died are right. All I am saying is that we are left hanging because we do not know if Caro met his death.  Orin, on the other hand, did meet his death because Quan Chi managed to find the cave where Taven was being kept and mortally wounded him. There was nothing Taven could do except walk through the portal Orin left open for him.
