Their is an episode of "MK: Defenders Of The Realm" about Sektor.
It shows him without his Robotic Helmet on.
The thing is, his skin is the race of an african american (black).

I'm thinking that this is what he used to look like as a human ninja before he got transformed into a Cyborg by The Lin Kuei.

The cartoon isn't official,but i'd like Sektor to be a black guy,because there are so few of them in VG.

I heard that MKDOTR was created instead of an MK3 Comic so that would mean it was official plus i noticed that the official site for it used to be Ed Boons site and i am sure John Tobias did the storyline for it

I don't know if the MK:DOTR cartoon is official.
It's a pretty cool cartoon though, with lots of charactars.
The episodes are written by Cynthia Harrison and Brooks Wachtel.
The storyline MIGHT be written by John Tobias, but i'm not too sure.

No way is DOTR official, it just won't fit. Think about the flying metal dragons, it's really a storyline created for the cartoon, nothing more.

all i know is that if u go to mkpavillon or just go to davesmk.com and go to links and find mk pavillon then once u go there they have a section of un masked fighters and it has mkdotr pics and it has cyrax as white and sektor as black! the game is probobly different then mkdotr![/code]

There is no such thing as a black chinese guy. Not that I know of. Although Sub-Zero doesn't look all the much chinese it still doesn't fit the discription of the Lin Kuie. And I hate the look of Cyrax without his robot mask in MKG. his eyes are f-ing glowing blue and shit and he looks crappy. By the way, I REALLY wish that you could have Sektor and Cyrax as ninjas in MKDA or MK6. Although people would hate that cuz then there would be 2 yellow ninjas and another red one. But if they had totaloly different costumes (but ninja mask stays) then it'd own. But once the mask is gone I'de consider them shit.

I am amused here.I've heard lot of people complain that Cyrax is black.So the lin kuei is a chinese clan,big deal.My theory is that the lin Kuei started as a chinese clan,but some non-chineses converted.Besides,if a chinese clan can have a white guy(Sub-Zero is white),then i don't see why it can't have a black guy.Perhaps Cyrax was converted to the clan.Oh,and i don't even understand this topic anymore.We don't even know if Sektor's white,black or asian.DOTR isn't official,and it sucked anyway.But i like the idea of Sektor being black.
I think i don't know what i'm talking about anymore.

Cyrax ain't African American. In MK: Gold, when he reveals his true face- he
doesn't even look human! But when we see Cyrax's alternate costume in Deadly Alliance, he will probably look more human.
Also, the artists of the drawing in MK: DOTR might have got an idea from Ed Boon of what Cyrax and Sektor looked like unmasked?
Ed Boon probably gave them an idea and they drew it and it was correct.

I don't know if the cartoon is official.
But I do know that The Lin Kuei gather fighters ( mostly children ) from around the world to participate in their ninja clan.
