I'm stuck on 5 as well, lol. I thought I was doing well until I read this topic! lol. I'm finding it difficult to be honest, I'm not sure i'm a fan of the Fatalities on this new game.

I'm trying to pull off my ender at my 10th move, but I keep running into problems, i.e. the timer. It always gets me before the sequence is initiated. CURSE THAT DAMN TIMER!!!!! _________________ Highest Kreate-A-Fatality: 11 (Ultimate Fatality)

I've managed to pull off an Ultimate Fatality (11-chain) that involves shifting the victim through all 6 positions. (i.e. forward, knees, face down, behind, knees behind, and face up.)
This is how I do it:
(* indicates transition)
1.) FF1
1a.) DF1* (behind)
2.) FF1
3.) UU2
4.) UU1
4a.) DB1* (face up)
5.) FF1
5a.) DF2* (knees behind)
6.) BB1
6a.) DF2* (behind)
7.) BB2* (forward)
7a.) DB2* (face down)
8.) FF1
8a) DB1* (knees)
9.) FF1
10.) UU1
10a.) DB1* (forward)
11.) FB4/FF4/DD4/BB4/UU4 (finisher)
I'll try and get a vid of it onto YouTube sometime in the near future. _________________ "We don't choose to be what we are. Only who we are, what we do, and how much pie we can scoff down until we're well 'n' truely bloated."

I gotta admit, it ain't easy gettin' used to the timing when you're starting out on the whole "Kreate a Fatality" rigmarole. Took me all night to successfully score an Ultimate Fatality on my first day of play. (And that was on the day of release in the UK!) Now I can perform them regularly! (Even scored a couple of 'em online!)
One thing I do find helpful, though, is to familiarise yourself with various actions, and get a rough idea of the time safety limits for any actions you wanna string together.
Here's an easy one for those of you who are still yet to reach 11 on the counter:
1.) FF1
2.) DD2
3.) DD1
4.) FF2
5.) UU2
6.) UU3
7.) UU3
8.) BB1
9.) BB1
10.) UU1
11.) DD4
Now that I think on it, isn't the number 11 also associated with rock music? (Speaker volume, methinks?) _________________ "We don't choose to be what we are. Only who we are, what we do, and how much pie we can scoff down until we're well 'n' truely bloated."

I've just recently hit the 11 mark without any transitions. I just do four rips and then a nut kicks, punch, head to knee, roundhouses, and then finish it with whatever I feel is appropriate. I'm working on a 12 hit one now. Does it piss anybody else off that the Ultimate Fatality gives you the same amount of coins as the Extreme Fatality?

I hate this system. They should have given you ten seconds to punch in as many sequences as you can and then played it through. It automatically stops you at the eleventh step... No matter what. You can't get a 12 hit fatality. THat doesn't make sense. The timer disappears after the 11th hit. I don't want any more 12 step fatality lies. Boon even said before the game came out that elevn was the highest you could get.
And yes, I don't like how the koins are the same for both, it defeats the purpose. _________________

Actually, I like the new system. Its entertaining to keep trying to push the limit of the timer.
BTW, that would explain why I was having such a hard time trying to get a 12.

The easiest way to get into the extreme/ultimate range is to simply input commands while others are still happening. And don't forget the quick moves like the roundhouse kick. I always close with two roundhouse kicks and then a finisher, usually neck break becasue its execution is quick.

It's almost like piecing a puzzle together, really. Except it's far less time consuming, and there's more than one way to put those pieces together. Lately, I've been working on more impressive short sword fatalities. As far as I know, there are only 4 kharacters that can pull these off. (Namely Kano, Kira, Mavado, and Mileena.)
Here's a good one for you guys to try out:
1.) DD1
2.) FF2
3.) FF1
4.) UDU1
5.) DD3
6.) BB3
7.) DD3
8.) FF1
9.) FF2
10.) UDU2
11.) UU4 (END)
More holes than a wedge of Swiss cheese? Maybe. _________________ "We don't choose to be what we are. Only who we are, what we do, and how much pie we can scoff down until we're well 'n' truely bloated."

I remember in one of the interviews _with Ed Boon, and some other guy- done before the release of the game that they mentioned the most chaines they've seen some one do was 13. _________________ Mileena or Kitana? ... Mileena

Actually, I think you'll find he said something more along the lines of "10 or 11". At least I think that's what he said. _________________ "We don't choose to be what we are. Only who we are, what we do, and how much pie we can scoff down until we're well 'n' truely bloated."

No, it was Boon himself, in the interview released right before that online show feature Armageddon. the following :
"So, what was your longest fatality?"
"well, I can't get as high some other people, there were a few on the team who can do eleven, which is the longest I've seen, we'll probably leave it at eleven." _________________
