I recently found out that UMK3 is available for the XBOX life Arcade. I know that both XBOX and XBOX360 use the online arcade. However, can the xbox owners still buy the UMK3.

why weren't noob saibot, rain and brutalities added in the xbox live arcade version of umk3; considering that the 16 bit console versions had them? This version, instead of being complete, is identical to the sega saturn/arcade versions? when will they finally give people a product that is worth their time and money?

Regular Xbox owners cannot access UMK3, only XB360 owners.
And as for Rain, Noob and Brutalities, those were gimicky things added to the 16 bit home consoles because they had to cut so much other stuff out, the graphics are terrible, and the gameplay is way off. UMK3 for the arcade is the best MK game around. Nothing else matches its quality of gameplay. That's why they used it.

I don't think Midway Likes Microsoft... First the delayed release of MKA, now xbox owners cann't access the UMK3...
All the more reason for me to switch to ps3...

That would explain why X-Box users do not get the same features as the PS2 version, EgyptTorment, but consider the fact that it could be same thing that happens when games go to X-Box 360 and PS3, but instead of X-Box games having this problem, then the Midway people could give X-Box 360 people more features and the PS3 people end up missing out. This is a possible scenario, but who knows.

I don't think they are gonna flip flop from their position. I guess it would depend on whether xbox360 is better than ps3 or not. Personally, I think ps3 would be better.

Good point, EgyptTorment. Midway would, as you said, not likely change their decision on which game should have more kontent. I totally agree with you there. You left my statement in the dust.

before I knew that Xbox live arcade is different for the old and new xbox, I had ordered the cd for my xbox (a waste of 6 dollars). I don't get it, armageddon was suppose to be for the current generation consoles -and so is its content. Apparantly it's only true for xbox owners. I really hate the inconsistancy.
