Sometime this week I am going to buy "MK Mythologies: SubZero".
I simply just want advice and opinions about the game.
Gameplay, Graphics, Storyline, etc.
I have already got "MK Special Forces"; is MKM: SubZero better or worse.
Any tips, advice or opinions about the game and I would appreciate it.
Thanx!!!!
I will also add a poll on which game is better. _________________ YOU KNOW OF ALL THE VULNERABLE SPOTS AND NERVE CLUSTERS ON THE HUMAN BODY.

In my opinion it is better than MKSF and has decent graphics (N64 version is probably better) pretty good gameplay and storyline tho it can be a bit hard and the was you have to use a button to turn is sometimes annoying but its a pretty good game

BLARG!!! I can't believe what I'm hearing! Special Forces was better than Mythologies?! How the hell do you figure that?! Improved 3-D graphics?! Maybe because Mythologies wasn't a 3D game! Good god, man, I'm hard pressed to think of a 3D game that had worse graphics than Special Forces! That sucker was a steaming pile of crap! I've never had the displeasure of playing such a horrible game before or since. Crap, I'd rather play Intelligent Cube than Special Forces!
YARG YARG YARG!!!!!
Now Mythologies on the other hand, ain't too bad of a game. It's a nice little jaunt and the cut-scenes are entertaining specifically because of their corniness. The outtakes at the end made it all worth it and the difficulty in the later stages is nice and good. It's a good diversion for a few days.

I have already got MK Special Forces and I think its a pretty cool game.
I'm thinking of getting MKM: SubZero this week and thats why I want opinions. MKM: SubZero has my favourite charactar in it, anyway!
I can't believe people are dissin' MK: Special Forces, It has got good graphics and a nice challenge. It also feeds you a better knowledge about The Black Dragon clan and their members, let alone the Special Forces Unit. _________________ YOU KNOW OF ALL THE VULNERABLE SPOTS AND NERVE CLUSTERS ON THE HUMAN BODY.

No, actually it doesn't and that's the one thing that truly disappointed me with the story. The manual poses the question, "What began the long-standing hatred between Sonya/Jax and Kano?" During the game however, we learn nothing of their previous relations or where this all began.
How cool would Special Forces have been if it were a prequel to the first Mortal Kombat as it was intended to be originally? What was Sonya like before encountering the Black Dragon? How did she change after Kano murdered her partner/fiance'? What was Jax like before that particular event? How about after? I always pictured Sonya's single-minded obsession with revenge as consuming even Jax and dragging him down into the dark, twisted path of her hatred for Kano and the Black Dragon.
What did Kabal look like before his face got peeled off? What did he do?
Who are the Red Dragon and what connection do they have to the Black Dragon?
Why is the Black Dragon employing ninjas like Tremor when they're clearly more of the organized syndicate/street thug type variety?
How did Kano originally come into contact with Shang Tsung and get himself and the Black Dragon involved in the Mortal Kombat tournament?
Special Forces promised to unveil the secrets and events that set these two groups against each other but failed to deliver.
So no problem! Maybe a prequel just wasn't the way to go. So where could Special Forces have gone as a sequel? Well let's see?
- Resolution for Kabal. Assuming that he did live through all of MK3, he was last seen turning his life around and opposing crime. Does he follow through with his vow or does going straight get stale after a while? Either way, he could play a key part in the story since he has strong connections to the Black Dragon.
- The Special Forces unit has developed technology capable of opening portals between realms. How would they use this? Where do they go? Do they keep up contact with Queen Sindel, Princess Kitana, and Outworld?
- What of Cyrax? Last we saw of him, Sonya and Jax had successfully purged most of the cybernetic implants and freed his mind and soul from the machine. Would he play a part in the story and if so, what about Sektor?
- Once again, who are the Red Dragon and how do they come into play against the Black Dragon?
And that's just for starters. Instead we got shelved with:
- Jax shows up in his car and starts pounding on Black Dragon members.
- Turns out they're building a portal to Outworld.
- Jax goes to Outworld and beats up Kano. Takes some kind of amulet, but we never see what he does with it.
- "Awwww Yeaaaah" is spewed forth from Jax's mouth at least four-dozen times before the credits roll. YARG!!!

Ok i never said one was better than the oyher. MKM Had bad graphics but i don't care about that. The control sucked. When you pused a button it took like ten seconds for the charater to do anything and i cuoldn't get past Fujin even with the game set on easy and with infinite lives. MKSF had somwhat better control and better graphis becase it was 3d but sonya wasnt playble like i read it was suposed to be. The 70's thing at the beginin almost made me barf and i couldnt get the sewar gate open. But neither is better than the other. I don't think its fair to be comparing them, They are two completly diffrent games in diffrent styles. _________________

Both of the games are adventure/platform, they are different "styles", not different "genres".
Anyway, kinda looks like MKM: SubZero is winning. I'll get it sometime this week or the next. _________________ YOU KNOW OF ALL THE VULNERABLE SPOTS AND NERVE CLUSTERS ON THE HUMAN BODY.

well MK:SZM is prolly the better one, considering that MKSFhas kind of a sucky storyline.I mean where is Quinn Sonya and Kabal?and who THE **** IS GEMINI!we didnt even see her.Now im not sayin MK:SZM has an ultimate story line but it is better and easier to follow.and when i saw SF two horrid words came to mind......STREET FIGHTER

Special Forces could have had more levels, 5 isn't really enough. I still like it though.
By the way, what the hell does StreetFighter got to do with Special Forces? _________________ YOU KNOW OF ALL THE VULNERABLE SPOTS AND NERVE CLUSTERS ON THE HUMAN BODY.
