Hey all,
No this is NOT another Scorpion vs Sub-Zero thread.
I was looking through the storylines in the MK:A guide and I came across something interesting.
As far as I can tell, Scorpion is a good guy now, changed by the Elder Gods, and not only that, he is Sub-Zero's protector.
Now if this is the case, then why does the intro MK:A movie show Sub and Scorpion fighting?

My only guess is because it was all happening before the fact. All of the stuff in the storylines happened after Blaze was destroyed and the fighting was over.
Sub-Zero's storyline interests me. I want to see how they're going to combine Sub-Zero and Noob into one entity in the next Mortal Kombat.

Scorpion isn't a good guy, he is still nuetral, plus he is pissed off at the Elder Gods for using him and betraying him.
And the intro movie is just that, and intro movie. Sub-Zero and Scorpion, have always been held as rivals, no matter what their stories say, and that movie just goes to show it.
and Kat, I dont see why they would do that, because they are two seperate beings, and also they wont be in the next game

In Sub-Zero's storyline, it talks about Sub-Zero and Noob being reunited as one entity and one soul. And I heard for the next game, they were getting rid of all characters except Sub-Zero and Scorpion.

THat was put there to be a possible filler, doesn't mean it will actually happen.
And Ed Boon wont get rid of Sub and Scorp, least not directly, but they too were promised to not be in the next game, for everyone on the MK Team has said that after this game, they're starting over, from scratch

That really sucks, Vain. The character I have the easiest time playing as will not make the cut in the next game. I wonder what the new storyline is going to be now that the majority of the characters are going to be killed from this final battle.

actually, it's just the majority of the characters, 90% of them.

Where did you hear this, deathdealer? If this is true, I wonder which characters will die and which ones will survive through Armageddon.

Well right off the bat, I think they know there are a few characters, such as Scorpion, who they'd be shooting themselves in the foot if they killed off.
Two characters off the top of my head who shouldn't and even couldn't die, but I'm sure they'll make up some lame brain story, are Raiden and Fujin. They are gods and you can't kill a god.

i heard it in a interveiw a long time ago but i forgot which one though. I'm positive it's going to be 90 percent of the people who will die. we all know scorpion will live, sub zero is a mystery(sp?) IMHO.

Not to be rude or anything, prowler45, but explain to me how he died at the hands of the Deadly Alliance, and also exploded the temple where the undead army of the Dragon King was with his energy, which killed anyone almost instantly caught in its path. Raiden died while trying to fight the Deadly Alliance, but resurrected yet again by Onaga. He died in the temple that night, but was reborn as a less tolerant Thunder God.

Actualyl Scorpion, he didn't die, he was knocked out by the Deadly Alliance, because if he died, and Onaga took over, the Raiden would have been serving Onaga, instead of helping the Deadly Allaicne kick his ass.
And you left out the part where he used his Kamakazie to try to kill Onaga, and then regenerated.
And I think this topic should be closed, it's lived it purpose, and every debate is getting off the topic...
