Yes, Oblivion is a great game. But Sparkle gave up on it as his attention span was getting rather thin. His character was turning into a Vampire, which as rather annoying, because it meant Sparkle had to run around at night and kill people in their sleep. Ok that part is fun, but being lynched afterwards is not.

this is actually okay in this instance, Vain. the original poster came back to talk about the topic more in-depth, instead of it sitting at the top of the list untouched.
as for the game, I've played it... a little bit. I love the fact that it's open-ended, but I hate the fact that it's SO open-ended. I felt like a fish out of water. I had no idea where I was supposed to be going, what I was supposed to be doing, and then I got arrested for stealing from a merchant. ^_^;
if the game was a bit more, "here's a suggestion for you to follow, but you don't necessarily have to do it", then I think I might give it another try. I didn't really play it enough to really get into the flesh of the game, methinks.

The side quests were overwhelming and it was easy to lose track what were you up to. It was fun though.

and of course theres downloadable quests or even downloadable islands that were never seen before like shivering isles
shivering isles is a lost island that has a portal to the world of madness
( the islands ruler is a phsychopath ) ....so the realm is divided into two worlds one that is colourful and happy ....its called MANIA
the other half is corrupted and very dark like the living forest in mortal kombat and has more powerful demons than mania ( the corrupted realm is called dimentia )

Well, if Chibi says it's fine:
I love Oblivion. It was one of the first games I grabbed when I first got my PS3, and I've never had any complaints, aside from the fact I wish that I could use mods on the PS3 without the aid of a boot disk.

i heard that on the ps3 you have more blunt weapons than the xbox 360
but the xbox has more slash weapons than the ps3
in my opinion i say slash weapons suits me well, because i am with the dark brotherhood , but if you want to use better blunt weapons then join the fighters guild.

Indeed, we get more blunts, though my main character in it uses his fists, no weapons. As well as I am in the Dark Brotherhood. Just started doing the missions really. I'm on the one where you have to sneak into the prison.
What kind of character you running, main skills wise?

My charecter is a male dark elf
my top skills are : conjuration 100% (master)
sneak: 100% master
hand to hand (fists):88% expert
acrobats:97% master
i finished the dark brotherhood and i'm a vampire that means you can't walk in the sun unless you drink blood from anyone who is asleep
but anytime i feel bored of being a vampire i have a cure of vampirism
but i heard that if you cured yourself you can't be a vampire again you will be normal forever
i finished the game and the seconadary objectives and finished the shivering isles , and i'm waiting for downloadable content for oblivion .
