Agreed. Stryker seems to be way too much of just an ordinary guy to be a kombatant. He was just a fat cop. He really has just a damn good utility belt. Kombatants should have special powers for certain. At least now, Stryker has thinned out at any rate.

Where ever there is a Styker basher, I'll be there to defend him! For those who don't already know, I'm Strykers number 1 fan.
Styker has always been my favourite since MK3, in his debut. He offered an intresting mix to the table, a Riot Control officer that just seemed to get sweeped up into something bigger then he'll ever know. His Riot Klub moves were a different change of pace from the avarage moves,He dominated both air and ground, weither it be with the Riot Klub throw, or the Riot Klub Trip. Then, there is his grenades, high and low. Again, these were different then the average projectile, due to they arked upwards, instead of flying straight foward.
Then UMK3 came along, and he got somethign special, his gun. The machine gun move made him undoubtible a very strong and broken character, as he could set up infinites using it.
Then MKT came right along, and added to his deadly arsenel, DOUBLE GRENADES. Having the power to take away up to 25% of your opponets health with these moves at the risk of leaving yourself open afterward was a nice risk to take. He was undoubtibly, extremely cheap when used in the hands of an expert.
Now we have MKAR and though he doesn't have Riot Klub specials, he still has them as actual weapons. Not to mention his single grenades, and gun move return, and even the gun move gets a style set up for air killing. Plus now he gets a stun gun! It's just so damn different its awsome! he still to this day dominates the air AND ground, So next time you call Stryker a fat lazy cop, beware, for you are crunchy and good with ketchup.

Chaodjinn, Do you use Blaze on a regular basis? I have tried him too, but dont really care for em, but I do have a friend who almost only uses Motaro, I'm just curious to see if anyone else uses a "boss" Character as ther main.

Not really, no. To be honest, I feel much more comfortable using non-boss characters. Mainly 'cos their fighting styles are that little bit more dynamic, and are also capable of air kombat.

i use motaro, kintaro and shao khan a lot but dont use any other bosses at all
for my favourite charcter would have to be night wolf because i love using his charge move both in the old and new. the charcter i hate would have to be no one it's all good

Yeah, but that's the exact reasons why I don't like Stryker. He just has a good utility belt. He can't freeze people, burn them to a crisp (well, actually he can, but not without some utility assistance.), or cause an earthquake whenever he hits the ground with his fist. Noob Saibot is the much cooler version of a super cheap UMK3/Trilogy Character, broken as all hell.

Thats interesting. I used to dislike Stryker by appearance in MK3. But I really dig his new selectable alternate costume in MK:Armageddon. More ninja like = more to my taste in design.

That and he can jump a distance that no other human can! How many other characters back in MK3-T could clear across the entir screen that were NORMAL human? None. Even Liu Kangs flying kick and bike kick had its distance limits.

My favorite characters are Liu Kang and Kung Lao, my most hated character is Nightwolf. There was no point to him at all, the only cool about him was his animality in mk3.

stryker can be summed up into a few words
one of which is "lame"
but the one i prefer have to come down to just sub-zero (the second one) and scorpion
both very cool
