So, I really dig Deception so far. Im glad I bought it for it has something different to offer in contrast to MK:Armageddon. (like character specific fatalities, extra kontent and etc.)
I was lucky enough to find a newly sealed copy of Deception:Premium Edition.
It really made me smile when I got to play the first Mortal Kombat arcade game (with all the fatalities).
But heres a few questions I'm hoping to find some enlightenment to.
First off, are there any secret options I can activate in the premium disk to alter the settings for MK:1? Such as time, screen adjustment and difficulty options? (Hmm...Probably not. Why would they hide such options to begin with? I guess I answered my own question there.)
Second, I was playing puzzle fighter (pretty cool) on easy and found that the second to the last challenger, would always beat me due to two factors. 1. They tend to get constant breakers, giving them the edge to clobber me every minute. And 2. The challengers are able to move the blocks down at lightning speed while mine go down slowly (even after I hold down the down key) Its just not fast enough and it feels like defeat is inevitable. Did I mention it was on easy?? lol... Boy, the MK programers sure do like a strong challenge regardless what level of difficulty its on. It's almost useless to have that option in Puzzle Kombat.
Anywho, heres the question. Is there a special way I can drop my blocks down at fast speeds like the CPU does? Because it would help big time if I could.
Especially when I get no block breakers till the last minute when my screen is nearly full.
(Bare with me, although I love tetris, Im not an expert, but for playing on easy or even on novice actually, its still pretty tough.)
Any help would be appreciated. Happy Thanksgiving for those who celebrate it. _________________ MORTAL KOMBAT!!!

I don't know the answer to most of those questions, but I can answer the one about the block dropping quickly.
if you want your blocks to drop down fast like the CPU, then just push the up button instead of the down button. =)
keep with Puzzle Kombat. the more you play it, the easier it gets, and the more you like it. at least, that's the way it was for me. _________________ Nikki: your friendly neighborhood moderator. ^_^

Wow.. hehehe. Pressing the up button eh? I would have never thought that would do it. I was trying all sorts of button combinations and crap. But all I needed was to press up. Hahaha.
Thanks a lot ChibiHana!
I will definitely stick with puzzle kombat because like I said before, i dig my tetris! ...and the blood. lol.

And to answer your first question, no, you can't, it is how it is. _________________
